So when Sarah Palin wants to speak to his kids in 2013, will he have a problem with that?

From Dick Gephardt (1991) concerning the speech from the first President Bush to school children:

“The Department of Education should not be producing paid political advertising for the president, it should be helping us to produce smarter students.”

Ack! I clicked on the link, saw chris matthews sour mug and reflexively clicked back.

I did manage to clip the quote:

"I got to tell you, as someone who has covered Washington a long time, this is one of the most ridiculous controversies I've ever seen, and so far as I can tell, the biggest danger to kids in this whole thing is alot of the parents complaining aren't smart enough to raise them very effectively, cause if you think that a President coming into your kids schools saying work hard, stay in school is a danger to your kids, you've got some problems"...

To hell with this jerk if he isn't smart enough to realize that the script released today was not the original script and that there was more to this, with the president instructing teachers to ask their students what they can do to help the president. I'm tired of this mamby pamby bullshit being shoveled by the whitehouse and the press. Keep your damned dirty hands off my kids.

Does the parent company of NBC (General Electric) share Mr. Harwood’s views?

Do the advertisers on NBC share Mr. Harwood’s views?

Typical libtard: sling mud and call names rather than discuss.

Typical mentality of a schoolyard bully in the sixth grade.

It’s not the speech that matters, it’s what you or the teachers say to the student after the speech. Some of the children’s parents won’t say a word about about it. The important thing to remember is that government is not mommy and daddy, and that it certainly is not God. Make it simple.

I think it is becoming increasingly clear to thier own viewers that the broadcast network news and the big dailies are nothing but propaganda organs

John,

When you wake up, please bow your unworthy head in repentance. Your blind hatred for common sense and decency has you ranting pure crap.

I feel sorry for your family

the script released today was not the original script

Not to mention he is lying to the kids in the new and improved script and is promoting illegals in talking about the Brown student. Here's the lies about his childhood:

1. I don't believe a word of it much less that he got up at 4:30 to do lessons. I'm surprised he didn't say he walked to school, 4 miles, up hill both ways in the snow in his bare feet.

2. And what's this about his father leaving the family when he was two? That's a lie. Evidence shows his parents didn't live together so how could he have left them? Ann was in Seattle days after the birth and didn't go back to Hawaii until after Senior left for Harvard on June 22, 1962.

3. He says he was raised by a single mom. No, his grandparents raised him.

4. He says his mom was single. Someone is lying. Michelle says Ann was "very much single" but Hussein says Ann and Senior were maybe sort of maybe married on Maui but she did file for divorce in '64. In '67 when he was 6, she married Soetoro.

5. He missed having a father. The Soetoros were married for eight years but of course he wasn't with them all that time because Ann dumped him back on the grandparents in '72. For most of his life he had a father figure in his grandfather which is much more than the kids he claims to identify with.

Omce upon a time in an era when the MSM made a visible attempt to differentiate between news and opinion. I remember a label appearing when NBC's John W Chancellor would give an 'editorial opinion' that this was not news. The same was done for Howard K Smith on ABC (frequently conservative would you believe!)

Now, the MSM have no problem in embedding editorial comment within a supposed newscast and frankly, given the quality of the participants, they probably wouldn't recognize the occurrence. Still the MSM wonders why they have lost their audience.

Is he suggesting the State should take over their raising instead?

Parents: They do not worry about you because you are NOT smart. The truth is they worry about you because you ARE smart and because you ARE paying attention and you care about your kids and are actively involved, asking questions and not just turning them over. I am so proud of the people of this country, the ones that the elites keep calling names. Each time they call you a name, take it as a badge of honor and a signal that you are doing the RIGHT thing. You know more than they do about your own kids. Trust your instincts ALWAYS.

I taught gifted kids and once had a third grader who talked to me about an article he read in Scientific American. He was amazing. His father called me and told me that his “regular” teacher thought he should be “held back”. The poor father was so confused because he thought his son was quite bright. HE WAS CORRECT. Parents are nearly always right about their kids and there have been studies to show this. Never let them make you doubt yourselves.

That is exactly what he wants. Commies (see stealth, closet racists)have a thing about minority fathers leaving their children to the wolves and the state picking up the tab. This is not about conservative parents, it's a backwards way of smacking the African American culture of the absent father. They think they need a leash and government daddy is gonna save the day and make them the masters. These fascists are despicable liars.

Yeah, and how much money does NBC’s parent, GE, get from the Obama Administration again?

Harwood can be the education czar. All he has to do is go on record as saying a lot of stupid things.
