Ain't that the truth, Carson was such a comedic genius, and frankly he didn't get enough credit for that. I also remember when Cronkite died, I went back and watched Carson's version of Cronkite's last CBS Evening News broadcast, and it still cracked me up as much as when I first saw it. "For God Sakes knock off that tickety-tickety. Nineteen years of tickety-tickety."

I think this is from an episode from the 60s I saw, where Jack Webb aka Joe Friday was lecturing a hippie who told Joe that one day they would be in charge.
