When Michael Huttner and Jason Salzman's book, 50 Ways You Can Help Obama Change America, hit the book stands September 1st, the admittedly left-wing authors had high hopes of dislodging conservative books from Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Michelle Malkin and others from Best Seller lists they have dominated for months. The 50 ways guide was publicized with glowing reviews from Hollywood celebrities and even the late Senator Ted Kennedy. At the Huffington Post, they have even offered a trip to Hawaii contest as an promotion for pushing sales. But alas, one week after the hyped release of the book, it appears that there is not as much interest in helping President Obama change America as the liberal authors had hoped. In fact, to put it simply, the book is bombing.
But bombing may be an understatement. Although it will...

Especially when it's already full of sh...crap.
Maybe ACORN can hire a bunch of street people to walk into book stores and buy the liberal book... then they can give them away at thrift stores...
Even then, Fox News smokes all the other cable news channels COMBINED.
People have a choice. Air America or conservative talk radio. And we all know how Err Amerika is doing.
Liberal news doesn't sell.
Liberal books don't sell.
Liberal talk radio doesn't sell.
On a level playing field, liberal mindsets don't sell.

I see the book has 256 pages and is 8.4" x 5.5"
Don't know for certain but I suspect a new book that size can not be marketed at a profit for $7.77.
People may like, and vote for, certain individual liberal/leftist policies that specifically benefit them - but few people like leftism as a whole, and Americans hate communism. This has been proven again and again. That’s why politics/lies and coercion are absolutely necessary parts of their control.
Sounds like his School Speech.

>>Liberals think holding the “correct - “ beliefs make them intellecutal
You’ve got a point there. They don’t need to read, because they already know the truth—about everything.
I bet you the first person to get it is some wacko lib who is going to tear out each page to use as toilet paper.
The publisher is PoliPoint Press. I went to their website. No real info about the company. I wonder who’s paying the bills...

Question for PW: Absolutely no curiosity on your part about how these guys are paying their bills when their sales suck, huh?
Silly you! The only color needed for that book is RED!
Again we see the theme that we should “help” Obama. Same theme as in the original lesson plan sent out by the Department of Education to accompany the Obama address to America’s school children.
Look at the literacy rates in the U.S. While complete illiteracy in the U.S. is rare, those who study the issue divide Americans into quintiles. Those in the bottom quintile of literacy, simply can not function in the written world. Those in the second level from the bottom do not read well enough to understand the arguments being presented in a common newspaper.
So?....My guess is that conservatives are in the top 2 highest levels of literacy. This means that they are smart enough, and well enough educated, to be able to read books.
Democrats are more likely to be in the bottom 2 quintiles of literacy and would never be in a bookstore, or on-line, buy and book.
While there is an element among Marxists ( I refuse to call them Democrats) that are hyper-educated, the masses of the Obama followers are too stupid and too uneducated to ever consider buying a book.
The opposite is true for conservatives. That is why conservative books hit the top level of best selling books.
Please see post #38.
Maybe they CAN’T read and that’s why they’re so stupid about common sense and other political stuff. LOL.
