The speech is scheduled for September 8th at 12:00 p.m. and will last approximately 20 minutes. The broadcast will be live on the White House website at http://www.whitehouse.gov/live.
Loyalsock Township School District will not air the speech live in our schools.
In keeping with the best educational interests of our students and educators, Loyalsock Township School District will record and evaluate the speech to determine how and/or when it will fit into our curricula.
Faculty members who wish to show President Obama’s speech as part of their individual curriculum will send permission slips home for parental approval.
