Video: Why conservatives should not be happy as Van Jones resigns
examiner.com ^ | 9/6/2009 | Ryan Witt

"First, even as I defended Van Jones (as I saw nothing wrong with his actual performance as green jobs adviser) I will admit that his past statements were beginning to take a political toll on Obama. Day after day liberals were having to endure the next few radical sentences taken out of thirty minutes address or interview from Van Jones. While the statements had nothing to do with green jobs they were effective in making Jones, and to some degree liberals, appear radical. Republicans were beginning to see Van Jones as their party pinata who supplied with more candy every time they verbally hit him. Now that Jones has resigned the pinata is gone. Sure their are other "czars" but I do not believe any of them will be the "gift that keeps on giving" to Republicans like Van Jones was."..........

I can't believe the confused writer of this article is from a paper (a paper I've never heard of, btw) from Bakersfield, CA.(?) Rightfully, the writer is receiving appropriate feedback in the section beneath the article. Bakersfield, CA and all of Kern County is very strongly Conservative.

Not everyone has the same opinion. That doesn’t mean he;’s not a conservative. Put up a poll about Pelosi leaving the speaker job. 25% of us will say no. wait until after the election. She’s too useful. I can hear the campaign speeches now “The party of Nancy Pelosi wants to do............”

I love it when libtards tell us what we should and should not feel.

It’s like them telling us how to win elections, who to run, who not to run.

Yeah. You guys are looking out for our best interest! Funny!

I’m having an extra non-green celebration today to celebrate the OUTING and the, hopefully, DESTROYED CAREER of just another communist.

Remember:

Green is the new Red.
But, just like the Old Red,
It’s all about controlling the Green.

“appear radical”

Dude, not sure about you, but many of us call BS for what it exactly is: BS. A slef-professed radical IS a radical, not something that appears to be...you think?!

Author is amazingly ignorant. Jones was just the low hanging fruit, there are all sorts of rabid radicals in Obama's inner circle.

Jones is just the start, there are many more political roaches in the Obama White House waiting to be exposed.

“gift that keeps on giving”

I think the FCC diversity czar should be the next target.

I wonder if he pays his taxes?

Republicans were beginning to see Van Jones as their party pinata who supplied with more candy every time they verbally hit him.

Perhaps the author should research the topic he's writing on; instead of making up facts as he goes along.

The statements and actions of Van Jones took place before he was apppointed to his positions. He did not spill anything once in position to Republicans or anyone else - but the issue in my mind is due to his radical actions, his communistic policies and his rascist statements, he should never have been appointed to this position in the first place.

Is there a proper link that takes you directly to this article and not the front page?

Hardly. The rest of BO's flaming Communists are cut from the same cloth. They will also drag down BO. People need to pick off each czar with the same strategy as was done with Jones.

This link is opening to a local Examiner page. This must be one of those online publications with a community focus?

Making him APPEAR radical? He is what he is and does not hide it, a hard left Marxist. That said, he was useful to us in highlighting the radical leanings of the whole administration; too bad he's gone.

Whoever replaces him will have the same mind set, but will be quieter about it. And any "green" jobs created will be government positions, I'll bet!

"Jones is just the start, there are many more political roaches in the Obama White House waiting to be exposed."

Exactly. That's what made me laugh about this guy's article. He said:

"Republicans were beginning to see Van Jones as their party pinata who supplied with more candy every time they verbally hit him. Now that Jones has resigned the pinata is gone."

WHAAAAT???? LOL! There is a long line of political piñatas in the current Administration............from Obama, all down the faded democrat party line. (obviously).
