Let’s not get too excited about this...now Jones will have more time on his hands to force Beck off the airwaves.

"Van Jones, President Obama's "green jobs" czar, has resigned from his White House post amid controversial statements in his past, exposed primarily by FOX talk show host Glenn Beck and the Gateway Pundit blog." We already know this. But good riddance to him all the same.

More accurately, the American people win. The guy shouldn't be entrusted with an unlicensed toothbrush rather less access to control of the US government.

Everyone who supports Beck needs to contact the advertisers and tell them that if they pull their add or have pulled their adds you will not buy their products and that you will tell all your friends to do the same. I had insurance with Geico and have call them and told them I am changing my coverage to another company and told them why. And said I would tell all my friends who have coverage with them to do the same. The bottom line speaks louder than these racist POS. Money talks Bs walks.

That’s right....Jones isn’t really going anywhere. He’s going to do everything he can to destroy Beck. But we need to move on to the next...Cass Sustein

They all need to be gone. Every last one of them, their staffers, and the Resident himself.

"Jones will have more time on his hands to force Beck off the airwaves."Only if we allow that to happen. We are stonger than a communist toadie. I think there are too many who have forgotten that. lets remind them.

He can continue to try but Jones credibility has taken a baseball bat to the groin, thanks to Glenn 'Babe Ruth' Beck. If there wasn't any credence to what Beck had been saying, Jones would still be sitting behind his White House desk.
Stick a fork in Jones, that faux-bad-mamma-jamma is DONE.

I wonder what cushy “government” or “advisory” or “consultant” job he’ll fall into. Sometimes it’s better to have these guys out in the open where you can see them. Now he’ll be behind the scenes, pulling the strings yet unaccountable.
I’m not so sure we won this time.

"I wonder what cushy government or advisory or consultant job hell fall into. Sometimes its better to have these guys out in the open where you can see them. Now hell be behind the scenes, pulling the strings yet unaccountable."Sort of like a bed bug or a cockroach. They hide most of the time but do show themselves from time to time.

I just read a Yahoo article in which Jones claims that he has been inundated with calls begging him to stay and fight. I bet it was the other way around. Each day brought another revelation of just what a radical Jones really is, and, by association, just what a radical Obama is to have appointed him.

Yes! Every corporation or company who supports the views of Van Jones deserves to fail..People are taking a stand and I believe that will include paying close attention to the world views of the companies whose products and services they use. The companies who pulled their support from Beck now have announced through a big public megaphone where they stand in regards to the freedom and security of this nation.

Why now he’s gotten the final credential that’ll land him an ivy league academic job.
To: TheMadKing
Jones issued an apology on Thursday for his past statements. When asked the next day whether Obama still had confidence in him, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said only that Jones "continues to work in the administration." Not sure if this is a good thing!
