White House to fly Red Chinese flag On September 20, 2009, a ceremony will be held in front of the US Presidents residence to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The national flag of the People's Republic of China will be hoisted at the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C. Obama has already given his permission for the event.
The administration is finally getting honest....
Well you are a newbie so I will let the mods settle this out...however...we are owned by China anyway so it was just a matter of time.
Pictures of it will be everywhere in the next election. Let the Third World Thugs in this administration explain that.
I’m surprised Obama would agree to fly the flag of a nation that is so much more capitalist than he is. :)
How ironic!
The Chinese laughed at our adventure into “bail outs” and utopian socialism. They are far more conservative than the U.S. as well.
Actually the Chinese see the U.S. as a bad investment. THey are no longer buying our debt - or I should say just enough to keep their previous debt buying worth anything. The Chinese are now shifting to gold and other countries for investment. They don’t agree with Obama’s socialism. They’ve been there and discovered CAPITALISM!

(In short they are buying natural resources up like there is no tomorrow. While the U.S. LEASES our oil drilling spots to OTHER countries.)

In many cases, China has struck deals in countries that have access to large supplies of oil and minerals but where American and European countries are not well positioned, like parts of Africa and the Middle East. In one of the deals struck this week, China made an alliance with the government of Hugo Chávez, the president of Venezuela, who has denounced American leadership. While the oil deals announced this week vary in terms, analysts say they ensure China a steady supply of oil for decades to come, sometimes at favorable prices.

I understand from something I saw earlier that this is not true. Can SOMEONE who knows for sure what this is all about set the story straight????
It’s either that or the Chinese foreclose on the property!
God what happened to our Greatest Nation in the World Status?
I would expect a pirate flag, in light of all the corruption in Washington. Ahoy, matey! What’s in your wallet?
Hope someone gets a clean picture of it. Gonna make some great campaign ads.
