Afghanistan is spiraling out of control. Deaths are mounting and the security situation is deteriorating. It's clear we need a new strategy. The General there, General McChrystal, has given his outline.
After two of the deadliest months of the war in Afghanistan, the commander of U.S. forces there said Monday that “success is achievable” but will require a change in strategy.

Now don’t flame me Freepers for saying this, I was all for the US going into Afghanistan after 9/11 to take care of the Islamic Terrorist, and all for American defending it’s self, but, since we have the wrong CIC at the wrong time when they are cutting defense spending and letting our troops die in Afghanistan, I think we should pull all our troops out of Afghanistan before more of our troops die.

What fun.
First, definitions. The definition of a punk, to a conservative, is a sneering, insulting coward. Conservatives don't care what punk means anywhere else - this is the definition they've used for over a hundred years. And they certainly don't care what the gay definition-du-jeur is. I assure you, the reason I did not make a sexist statement towards you is because you can't imagine how irrelevent gay lingo is to me - you really, really can't.
Second, hate labelling. By definition, conservatives are not addicted to groupthink, and in fact, find it revolting. So when you sling a groupthink label at a conservative, they are not going to cower in shame over the power of your magical word. They are going to merely reflect on whether it applies to them, and if it doesn't, they are going to reject it. Once again, conservatives don't care about liberal labels, because they understand how pathetic they are, and that they are motivated by a blind hate that a conservative doesn't have.
But it's interesting to see your purpose in using hate labelling, and that is to implicitly threaten trying to get me banned. Liberals are like that - they scream free speech, but when they don't like what they hear, they try to muzzle their opposition. This is called totalitarianism. And historically, it leads to concentration camps and mass murder. And it is supported by the kind of violence, hypocrisy and rage that the Left congratulates itself for, and that you just exhibited as an implied threat to me. I just wanted you to know that you are clearly seen and understood here for what you really are - and what you would gladly do to people if only you had the power to carry it out.
Third, logic. Correlation is not causation. That means that just because something like pipelines and poppy fields happened in Afghanistan, that does not mean that that is why we are fighting in Afghanistan. Oil companies have lower profit margins than liberals realize, and oil and opium have far more involved, international, trade layers than would justify an American war. Also, you know that America gets most of it's oil outside of the Middle East, right? Well, we do. And you also know that liberals have locked up our access to our own massive oil and shale reserves, right? Well, they have.
So, the reason I called you a punk is that, in fact, you showed deliberate disrespect for the troops by refering to them as juveniles and the war they are fighting as an adventure, which demeans their intelligence for fighting it. As well, you associated them with thugs who are protecting and enabling corrupt business deal and drug production, without mentioning that such things go on there whether or not there are US troops there. That is gross, sneering disrespect, and when you claimed to respect them, you lied. You talk of the war, and can't even remember to mention the little fact of global Islamic jihad? Did you forgot about mentioning the repeated Islamic promise to nuke Israel and America? With all your sensitivity, did you forget that Islam holds women as property, to rape or starve or beat or kill at whim? How do your liberal female friends "feel" about that?
Oh, and you are aware that the so-called Palestinians are actually Jordanians, right? And you have protested Jordan for keeping it's own people exiled in camps and blaming Israel for it, right? And you do acknowledge that, unlike the universal declaration of all of the Arab Muslim countries, Israelis do have a right to their own country, and a right to be alive, and don't deserve to be slaughtered down to the last man, woman and child - right? I mean, in the name of peace and social justice and eveything - right?
Yet, you address the war in Afghanistan but don't "feel" that any of that deserves mentioning - and yet you still claim a moral high ground.
That's why you are a hypocrite and a liar - because you are lying through hypocrisies. That's called looking at the facts. But because of your nasty little insults and slander techniques, you think you are hidden from view, like a child hiding in a closet and shouting swear words. But you're no child, and that's why I called you a punk. Punks are adults who act like nasty children.
You see, your liberal standards of social perfection are actually ugly hypocrisies. Collectivism murdered over a hundred million of it's own people in the last century, and astonishingly, there isn't one "social justice" liberal who gives a damn - including you. That's because you are all rank, lying hypocrites - you all want totalitarian control, and you call it peace and social justice. But history has shown it's just mass murder.
Free trade capitalism is not perfect, but it beats all the other econonomic systems in the world by a country mile. It is the true enabler of peace and social justice in the world, by many orders of magnitude. America, for all it's faults, is the good guy in this world. Liberals - and let me make this perfectly clear - are wrong. The liberal way is, and always has been, and for clearly understood reasons always will be, the way of slavery and murder, for millions and millions of people, in actual, real life.
To not care about that horrific fact proves liberals are mentally and morally sick, because they'd rather millions die than simply admit that they are ignorant, confused or simply wrong.
Thus endeth the lesson. And by the way, if you're gay, then I want you to know that it really pisses me off that you want laws that will force me to give a damn, because I don't. I don't care who you screw, and I'm never going to care, and I don't want to care. Live and let live is the only thing that is required, and it is enough. And marriage is no business of the government, so don't even bring it up. Government is not a religion, and it's not a parent.
So grow up, and get off my damn lawn.
