With each passing day we see mounting proof that President Obama and his White House really haven't a clue about modern medicine. Doctors all across the nation are finally starting to realize this, too. Cardiologists and Oncologists, for instance, are beginning to understand that President Obama and his takeover of our healthcare system is based on power and not service to patients.
Bloomberg is reporting that a group of Cardiologists and Oncologists are protesting the planed Medicare cuts in their services. The "Medicare proposal, announced July 1, slashes projected spending for care by cardiologists and oncologists by more than 10 percent each, while paying family doctors 8 percent more and nurses an additional 7 percent."
The thought was to push preventative care but these cuts will have "unintended" consequences: rationing.

I think he’s a lib’s lib and practices new-age alternative medicine. Just keep a few good crystals nearby, have your colon flushed regularly, take a few herbs and smoke the rest. Then you’ll never need to see a western physician who just wants to make money.
Of course, a good crystal is expensive, and those asian herbal shops want a lot for the best herbs. And the other stuff could get you arrested.

I am a physician. Let me make this absolutely clear. It DID NOT take doctors this long to realize this. I am the medical director of my hospital, and I do not know of a single physician who supports Obamacare. The AMA represents 17% of physicians, and receives 85% of its funding from NON-member sources. It is dominated by academic physicians or physicians less than three years out of training. In other words, the AMA does not represent MD’s at all. Locally, we had a meeting with our sneator which consisted of him and 100+ doctors. No MD spoke in favor of Obamacare.
Organized MD groups may speak favorably, and yes that baffles me, but I assume it is out of self preservation.
I have a friend of a friend who is the head of the doctors organization at his hospital (his exact title slips my mind at the moment). He has said exactly what you’re saying — that doctors do not support Obamacare. He actually is very angry at the whole situation. It would be great to see an organized Doctors Against Obamacare movement.
