The conservative movement is going to take time to sort out who is really a conservative and who is a wolf in sheep clothing. It will take time. And time is not always on our side. We need strong men and women to run as well. That is why IMHO, Duncan Hunter Sr. should now be occupying the WH.
Generally, you look at the way they vote in lower office.
Normally its a bad plan to elect someone with no history of legislative or administrative accomplishment.

Your take sounds reasonable. Meddling in a campaign like a loose cannon will create internal discord. The primary is where it’s at. After that, the leader has to win.
