Stand By Your Van is a classic. It’s too bad Van won’t be around long enough to use it over and over again.
Have you sent it out to any radio talk show guys yet? I’d love to hear it.

Never heard of that one. If I need another, I'm thinking "Basketball Jones," by Cheech & Chong. "Backin' Van Jones"? I wonder if Roy Orbison's "Workin' For The Man" might be of any use here...

Even the apologist for all things Democrat, Bob Beckel, was on FoxNews this morning saying that Van Jones has to go and that he didn’t understand how an avowed Communist got past Secret Service vetting to get into the White House.
Ol’ Bob was clearly pissed that he couldn’t spin this.

And despite hillary putting Tammy down for singing about standing by a worthless man, Tammy remained a clinton fan.
madam secretary remains a colossal hypocrite, standing by her worthless man.

Have you sent it out to any radio talk show guys yet? That's the dilemma. I can write these parodies, but I don't know how to produce them or market them. It's one thing to write good parodies; it's quite another to have an outlet for them and to make money off of them.
To: Charles Henrickson
I knew which song would be parodied the moment I saw the title of this DUFU edtion.

I knew which song would be parodied the moment I saw the title of this DUFU edtion. I've got another one on this thread, too, PJ: "Stand By Your Van."
To: Charles Henrickson
LOL! I think I’ll see about getting “Stand By Your Van” in my Canada Free Press humor column. Gotta give that one maximum exposure. ...Then Tweet it.

I just submitted it to the Canada Free Press. Let’s see. It’s a long weekend. Is there some way to bring “Stand By Your Van” to the attention of Glenn Beck during that time? I’m sure if he sees it, he would have it produced as a song for his show.

Tomorrow is my “test run” wedding crash. Yeah, I have an invite to it but I am NOT using it. I am going to crash it like I don’t belong there. None of the people (other than my wife) know who I am so it is just being like a stranger. I have some ideas on how to crash it that I will test out. Gotta get in practice for next month. Hee! Hee!

Is there some way to bring Stand By Your Van to the attention of Glenn Beck during that time? Only if somebody who has his ear (or that of his producer) notices it here on FR.
Im sure if he sees it, he would have it produced as a song for his show.
Only if he gets my permission first and is willing to share a tiny tiny bit of that huge contract he has!
To: Charles Henrickson
I’m sure he would compensate you. Now wondering if Van makes it to Tuesday.
