They guy's very close friend was that idiot in the Bay Area (sorry, correction, one idiot of many idiots), that sat up on a tree for two years protesting for the environment or some other such nonsense. The guy shows up for his first day at Yale with a "Black Panther bag". No kidding. From East Bay Times in 2004 (article just found).
