The Obama administration is setting a dangerous new precedent in American politics next week when the President carries out his plans to target the school aged children of this nation in a Presidential address. As parents, we have an obligation to first and foremost protect our children, and part of the protection is to prevent them from the challenges and issues that plague adults for as long as possible.
I cannot deny that I am more than interested to see first-hand what the President's speech will encompass on September 8th, but at the same time I will make sure that my 2 children are not subjected to a potential indoctrination. If President Obama wants to launch a program based upon education about drug abuse, underage drinking, physical fitness, healthy habits or other important initiatives, then I fully support those efforts. However, if the President's intention is to bring his political agenda into that conversation then he should be ashamed and publicly excoriated for it.

My wife just emailed both of our principals, regardless of what they reply is, what are pulling our kids from school on Tuesday, this reminds of what Tyrants like Saddam and Stalin would do. Imagine if George Bush wanted to speak to the children about the war in Iraq and why we fighting there?

Obama's whole campaign was just a shuck and jive act, fueled with the Democrats ginned up hate of Bush, say anything to get elected. Then once in office pull a Chavez, do anything he wants to US.
Americans are not Kenyans, or Venezuelans either. They are also armed, which is going to present a major problem, sooner or later.
Meanwhile, call your 'elected' school board member, in most cases they are elected, and explain to them why Obama propaganda is bad for THEM.

However, with this Stalinesque turn of events I fear that if the conflict does not commence in the next few years, America will not only be fighting the socialists but it's own children as well.
