The President is scheduled to give a primetime speech in front a joint session of Congress next Wednesday.

President Barack Obama will address a joint session of Congress on health care reform in prime time on Wednesday, Sept. 9, a senior official tells POLITICO.

Obama will receive House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid at the White House the day before for a previously scheduled sit-down.

this is worse than the proverbial preaching to the choir. It’s preaching to Pelosi!

The problem for Obama is once you have seen his shuck and jive act a few times, you know Obama lies.

Why bother.

His whole campaign was lies from start to finish.

It’s preaching to Pelosi!

I bet she can't even sing, at least not like a choir.

the last thing Obama should want is to be seen with that nasty shrew Pelosi, jumping up and down like a jack in the box every time he says something she likes.

Obama must love the sound of his own voice. And he must think the whole country does, also. This, coming just one day after his unprecedented address to the school children of America.

But the more he puts himself on the tube, the better as far as I’m concerned. I expect another couple points drop in his approval rating by next Friday. Schedule a few more addresses to the nation, Mr. President.

All Republicans should boycott the speech. I would go to my office and start making fundraising calls during the speech. Results would be great.

I don’t think Obama decided to go all-in. I think we called him all-in with the townhalls. He has no options.

One small problem for Obama — he's never been here before.

He's never had to come up from behind...
... he's never had to deal with an electorate who "hates" his policies ...
... he' never been in a position that simply playing the "race card" didn't shut up his opposition ...
... he's never been in a position where the tried-and-true Chicago-way of "eliminating" the competition wasn't an option — the competition is the AMERICAN PEOPLE!

Obama's other small problem is that in 2009 — the NEW media is more powerful than the traditional MSM. He is MENTALLY-INCAPABLE of knowing how to get out of this mess of his and A-Rod's creation, no matter HOW MANY political consultants they meet with.

He has always — ALWAYS — been the media darling, going back to 2004, and has no experience in having to work for his popularity — the media has always just handed it to him.

MEDIA DOUBLE STANDARD BENEFITS OBAMA

... It is not clear why Kerry sought to annul that marriage of 18 years, whatever the case with Kerry, the destruction of Ryan sets the stage for the election to the Senate of Barack Obama, a black liberal who spoke at the Democratic convention and is a media darling. But then came Republican Alan Keyes, a black conservative, to replace Ryan.

An Obama-Keyes race would provide a study in contrasts. Obama is firmly pro-abortion while Keyes is pro-life. Obama even voted against a bill to protect babies born alive after a failed abortion. Human Events newspaper says the record also shows that Obama is soft on pornography, soft on crime, anti-Iraq war, and pro-higher taxes...

I volunteered for Jack Ryan in 2004. On top of it, Blair Hull was leading in the Democratic primary before nasty details came out about his marriage and that lead to Obama taking the lead. Before that, he was an also ran in the Democratic primary. So, in fact, the seat was basically handed to him.

deciding a speech is bad and worthless before it’s given is unbelievably partisan and the sort of thing that bugged me about Bush’s critics. That’s not something I would agree with.

SCOTUS meets on Sept 9.

Watch for Obama to resign to spend more time with his radicals.

I was just thinking the other day that the president should schedule more TV appearances. We don’t get to see nearly enough of him.

Obama is going to lie to the American people, again. If you haven’t figured this out, you are hopelessly naive; or more likely, and Obama-supporting troll.

What is Obama’s problem? Maybe he doesn’t think his poll numbers are going down fast enough?

Even the mainstream media can no longer hide his lies and deception; nor are they trying all that hard anymore.

Pushing a make believe bill that no one read. This is who is in control of our country, and they wonder why there is no consumer confidence? Morals, responsiblility, integrity, honor, patriotism and self respect is not in thier vocabulary! Anyone surprised?
