Obama to Offer His Own Plan?
Publius Forum ^ | 09/01/09 | Warner Todd Huston

Marc Armbinder of The Atlantic is reporting that President Obama will be unveiling his own healthcare plan in the coming week as a way to kick start the debate back in his favor.

One of the easy digs against Obama until this time has been that he not only had nothing to do with the various plans floating around Congress (at least three bills thus far) and, worse, that he hasn't seemed to really know what is in any of them.

Now Obama is about to offer his own plan. Some of it will be ideas already in play and others will be new.

Great. We've been talking about the "president's plan" for months now all of a sudden he's offering "his own" plan? This guy is a sham from day one.

This is no doubt the most inept (reaching) imbecile ever to occupy the oval orifice. He works hard to occupy the USA and here is our lovely Congress complicit in the dirtiest scheme ever hatched in history: to destroy a perfectly good nation!

Some of it will be ideas already in play and others will be new.

But, all of it will be lies.

This is GREAT

Obozo will introduce his plan and even the idiot presstitutes will have to ask “then what th hell were we taling about the last few months?”

And if this is so dam important why can we change it all over the place and THIS one is so much better than the OTHER one we so desperately wanted you to pass...

Watch, it will be most of what the republicans have already brought up, that he will claim as his ideas, and a couple of additional elements.

My guess is he'll offer something rather benign at first. Throw the entirety of the supporters in Congress under the bus. The msm will laud his ‘great compromise’. It will of course be a trojan horse and amended back to the initial monstrous plan. Just a guess.

The 'President's' Plan...

No more surgery for anyone...just take a pain pill and don't call again.

No more tonsillectomies...those are merely unnecessary procedures pediatricians just do to make and extra buck or two.

Give all the Vets a booklet telling them they are a burden on society and need to do the 'right thing' and just off themselves...oh, and include the senior citizens in this plan, too...after all, those pain pills can get rather pricey.

There is a schitzo in the Oval Office.

How many plans does he have out now? 7? 8?

I think this will clear the air. Either the public option is IN or it is OUT. If it is OUT (unlikely) then the Left will roar their disapproval - painful to the delicate Obama ears. If it is IN then there will be no change whatsoever in the public’s reaction to the new version and his poll numbers will continue to tank. Obama is in a trap of his own making and this will not get him out of it. What was that phrase from the Nixon years that is so, so appropriate to the current state of the Obama Presidency: It is just “Twisting slowly, slowly in the wind”.
