By now, a year after her emergence on the national scene, it is crystal clear that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has this "head of the table" gene in spades. She is, in a remarkable way, the real heir -- make that heiress -- to Senator Kennedy. She is charismatic, she has a decided point of view and she is a lightning rod for controversy. Just as Kennedy managed to sink a once sure-thing Supreme Court nomination with his famous Bork speech, Governor Palin has managed to explode Section 1233 of the ObamaCare House bill with her vivid description of "death panels," severely damaging the President's entire legislative priority in the process.

Palin would have to drive off a bridge and leave that person to drown for 9 hours. Then she will be the next Ted Kennedy
Unless Sarah drove someone off a bridge and left them in the car under water to die, any comparison to Ted Kennedy is invalid.
I find the comparison insulting to Palin.

I think Palin is too careful a driver and a drinker to become the next Ted Kennedy. (Can’t see her trolling the bars for chicks, either.)

Sarah Palin is very hated by the same people who excuse Ted Kennedy. Which brings up an important point - all those journalists who went to Alaska and left no stone unturned - what did they find?????
Ted Kennedy left a girl to drown in a car and didn’t even report it until the next day. The press barely mentioned this and described it as a car accident.
Imagine if video showed up of Sarah Palin during her younger years getting it on with a bunch of men? Would the press let this dog sleep? And engaging in illicit sex acts is considerable less offensive than leaving a girl to drown.
I just thought of something. You know what? Ron Jeremy, the porn actor, would die trying before he’d let a girl drown in a car.
So, Sarah Palin is symbolically the “Ted Kennedy of the Right” but let’s see how she does in the general election in 2012 before we write her off. And, outside of politics, no comparison.
If there was really bad stuff about Sarah Palin, one of those dumpster diving reporters would have found it by now.
Sorry for the length of this rant but the moral obtuseness is a sign of serious societal decay.
If only the ingenuity employed in coming up with new ways to insult Palin could be harnessed for the GOOD of mankind.
Not the next Kennedy.....
But sure will be Happy if she is our new President in 2012.......

This is supposed to be I am sure a compliment from the American Spectator for Gov. Palin. Its not.
Sarah Palin is not a trust fund baby; she worked her way thru (several) colleges (and no cheating incidence either!!!). She has stayed married; had no car (snow mobile) accidents that caused any loss of life; and has no substance abuse issues. And even though I am far, far away from her in Alaska, I would bet the mortgage that Gov. Palin, in a drunken frenzy, has NEVER, EVER made a ‘waiter’ sandwich.
No...the differences between Palin and Kennedy are about as polar opposite as Alaska and Massachusetts.
She’s already about 20 years behind on scotch consumption.
