President Obama's green jobs czar Van Jones co-founded the communist group Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM), Glenn Beck said on his TV show Friday.
STORM described itself and its activities as:
"We upheld the Marxist critique of capitalist exploitation. We agree with Lenin's analysis of the state and the party. And we found inspiration and guidance in the insurgent revolutionary strategies developed by third world revolutionaries like Mao Tse-Tung and Amilcar Cabral."The vehemently anti-American group held a vigil in Oakland, California, “mourning the victims of U.S. imperialism around the world” on the night after Sept. 11, 2001. Jones does not appear to have distanced himself from his past communist activities and is now part of the Obama administration’s push to turn Sept. 11 into a National Day of Service focused on the promotion of the radical environmentalist agenda.
The vigil was reported by World Net Daily which excerpted parts of a history of the now-disbanded group. The 2004 document, called “Reclaiming Revolution: history, summation & lessons from the work of Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM),” may be found on an archival site here.
Jones also founded the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, which joined in the vigil according to an Ella Baker Center

We’ll be needing more pictures of Van and his group. Can you just picture a crowd of crazed communists raising their fist in the air?
It will take the US military. But I would imagine that at least 80% of them are already on board, spiritually and emotionally, and have had enough of this crap. (percentages decreasing the higher you go up the military chain of command).
If I recall properly, STORM was part of the ANSWER and World Can’t Wait coalitions.
