End-of-life counseling for people whose lives are not ending is a thinly veiled suggestion that their lives SHOULD end. But if that is how the government treats our veterans, to whom we owe our freedom, how will it treat ordinary people? The Cash for Clunkers program was aimed at getting rid of uneconomical cars. Will we now get rid of uneconomical people? Will we treat people as economic units, not as human beings?
My country doesnt act like that. My country is America. Its a nice place to visit, but its an even better place to live. I am determined to live there again.

You have that right. In the obama pattern, the estate tax is important to maintain so that they can determine how much they can obtain by encouraging the departure of selected individuals (perhaps well heeled Republican donors) can be harvested for the cause of socialism. Certainly, this would be a worthy goal of the Obama administration. I think well heeled Democratic donors should be able to move up the line in getting life saving procedures.
interesting, so when will all the former presidents, senators and house of reps sign up for their end of life counseling? Or, will they all be exempt?
All members of Congress need a little “end of career counseling”..........
