It was a year ago today that Sarah Palin walked onto the national stage and raised us up. Those of us who were fed up with a limp GOP moving center left were thrilled with a principled conservative, a rugged individualist VP pick. It saved a McCain campaign on life support.
McCain had it right when introducing her. He said, "she's exactly what we need, she's exactly what this country needs". Bingo.

    I really like Sarah Palin.
She speaks her mind, pulls no punches and tells the truth even though sometimes she exaggerates it a little bit. But at least she doesn’t outright lie like the liberals always do. ALWAYS. You cannot believe anything a liberal tells you. EVER.

I was one of the early supporters of Palin, saying weeks before she was selected that Mccain should pick her if he wants to win. When the question popped up on FR who McCain should pick, I would always chime in with Palin’s name, which always got replies of “palin who?”, “You want a nobody from Alaska?”, and comments like that.
When he did pick her I was doing cartwheels, and within a couple of hours we ALL knew who she was and the excitement on FR was a thing to behold.

Obama is all artifice. Palin is all real, all that. Obama is all style. Palin is all substance. Obama is anti-American. Palin is all-American. Obama holds the US military in contempt. Palin reveres the military. The military loves Palin. The military is on to Obama. The corrupt activist media loves Obama. The corrupt activist media loathes and libels Palin.

America missed its only option by not selection Sarah. It's good that McCain lost - his policies would have tainted Sarah. Although that in itself is questionable because she is legendary for standing up to things that are not right.
Face it, nobody was going to beat Obama last year even if McCain would have chosen Washington himself. Obama had the star power, the minorities, and guilty whites who voted for him. McCain was just a horrible nominee.
Now Americans are seeing first-hand the destruction of socialism, and Palin represents a clear alternative. Palin needs to do 4 things within the coming months:
 (1) Denounce all RINOs and withhold her support from them
 (2) Cut all ties with McCain - thank him again for putting her on the national stage but it's time to move on
 (3) Clarify her views on immigration - no amnesty, no pathway to citizenship
 (4) Start cracking down on organizations and events that uses her name to sell tickets

Regarding #3, she should clarify her views on a lot of things: essentially put forth a full platform.

To: TheFourthMagi
What other views? She’s a conservative across the board on everything. She’s pro-business (not the BS pro-business of giving handouts to corporations), pro-life, pro-gun, pro-states’ rights, etc. She supports border security as well.

She still needs to articulate each of those in detail if she wants to sell her positions to the American public.
Generalities don’t sell.
People want to know what tangible effects to expect on their lives.

Sarah should speak at the Nation Tea party on Saturday, Sept 12. Attendance would double. Wouldn’t it be great to have more folks at the Tea Party when Sarah speaks that Obama had in Germany!
