Not only do they profit billions from Obama’s policies, they shut out dissenting voices on their “news” networks!
Obama and the Democrats love to slam Fox News for presenting opposing points of view. So, it’s no surprise that Obama prefers to give interviews to NBC which he feels is more sympathetic to his cause. NBC has been in the tank for Obama from the beginning.
Further proof of NBC’s favoritism came this week when the network rejected the following ad from the League of American Voters:

“Government did us in,” says Dwayne Madigan, whose job will terminate when General Electric closes its factory next July.
Madigan makes a product that will soon be illegal to sell in the U.S. - a regular incandescent bulb. Two years ago, his employer, GE, lobbied in favor of the law that will outlaw the bulbs.
Madigan’s colleagues, waiting for their evening shift to begin, all know that GE is replacing the incandescents for now with compact fluorescents bulbs, which GE manufactures in China. Last month, GE announced it will close the Winchester Bulb Plant 80 miles west of D.C. As a result, 200 men and women will lose their jobs. GE is also shuttering incandescent factories in Ohio and Kentucky, axing another 200 jobs....
These men, waiting in the shade in front of the employees’ entrance to the plant on a hot afternoon, all know another pertinent fact about the light-bulb law that is killing their jobs: GE lobbied in favor of it.
Why did GE, founded by Thomas Edison, lobby to kill the incandescent light bulb?
The company said in 2007 it wanted to make sure it was working under a single federal efficiency standard, rather than a patchwork of state regulations. GE also touts its compact fluorescents as one of the green products in its “eco-magination” initiative.
The workers don’t buy the green arguments, pointing to the mercury gas that’s in the fluorescents...
So, GE gets environmentalist brownie points for selling “clean” light bulbs, and they also get to charge more for their bulbs. But there’s another advantage—they save on labor with fluorescents, because they make the fluorescents in China.
Not only are wages lower there, but so are the regulatory burdens, both environmental and labor. The Times of London recently reported, “Large numbers of Chinese workers have been poisoned by mercury, which forms part of the compact fluorescent lightbulbs.”

My Dear Mr. Immelt,
My late father worked for GE for many years in the Apparatus Service Division out of Cleveland, Ohio (specialized in marine work) and was always proud of his relationship with a grand old American enterprise. You were growing up down there in Cinci at the time and, one could assume, were inculcated with those same traditional values my father developed growing up in Coshocton, Ohio.
My wife and I are long-time GE shareholders and have remained thus through the current tumultuous period.
But we have become concerned, indeed ALARMED, at recent events at GE, the most telling of which is your evident embrace of a man who is clearly hell bent on dragging America into some sort of fascist or socialist nightmare. And make no mistake — that is PRECISELY where he is headed.
My wife and I have both signed the “We Surround You” letter at the Free Enterpriser web site so I shant belabor the points already made therein.
I served in the USAF for four years between ‘62 and ‘66. One day in May of ‘62, I raised my hand and swore an oath to God to “...defend the Constitution of the United States.”
To the best of my knowledge, that oath had no expiration date and is still active.
I would respectfully ask you to reconsider your recent activities vis-a-vis what many out here in fly-over country consider to be aiding and abetting an enemy of that Constitution and the IDEA of America envisioned by the Founding Fathers.
If you do nothing else, pray about that and think about what your continued course of action portends for your kids, your grandkids and, more importantly to me, mine.
NOt only did they learn it from Iran, they are hoping to be the number 1 go to Corporation for all of the weapons and crown control equipment Obama will use against Americans. Its a replay of what happened in Europe in the 1930s.
Makes me sick to see it.

Pratt and Whitney's Geared Turbofan.
In an industy that would kill for a 1% reduction in TSFC (turbine specific fuel consumption) this engine will get 12 to 15% reduction and a 40% reduction in noise. Pratt has been perfecting the gearbox for the last 15 years. and will be "Type Certificated" if the project stays on track in 2012. That means FAA certified and ready for production.
GE's technical trump card?
Dusting off the old " undiucted fan" and start research.
IMHO in other words GE has Zero ZIP NADA...
Don't even get me started on the warning that went out about GE's financial Arms Real-Estate Portfolio that some say is off 60 billion....
GE seems to want to play I G Farben to Obama’s Hitler.
GE needs to be reminded of Westinghouse and politicians they think they own.
