This is one of the subtle attacks they are launching against on sense of what America is about. September 11 where I live is not a happy-face "day off." They just don't give a damn about what makes America different.

Maybe we should institute a national “wear your gun to work” day.

Only people who never lost someone they deeply loved, like a child- or never loved someone enough to grieve their loss forever- would substitute a “day of servitude” for a national day of memory
AS for “service” that day- I will just say “hell no”

It’s a flag at half mast, solemn day of prayer and remembrance where I live and that’s how it’ll stay!

Just lovely how Odumbo does all this without any public debate.

It’s too bad that this a$$hole hasn’t been impeached yet. He is, by far, the most vile, dispicable human being to ever soil the Office of the President.

We are the public and sometimes the best “debate” is when we just don’t choose to participate.
Parents need to step in and prevent the schools from doing a mind-numbing history revision act on the kids.

It takes Congress to adopt legislation doesn’t it? So, Obama may have suggested/supported/created the idea for this bill, but members of Congress had to pass it.
The question should be: Which members of Congress voted for it.

take 9/11 back from Republicans so it is no longer a day of fear. What an offensive statement...It's never been about "fear" for us...it's about resolve against an enemy, who contrary to what you and your ilk may think, want to kill us all...you friggin moron.

I think I’ll go to the range and shoot targets all day. Targets wearing turbans.

Thanks, I do need some toilet paper! In that case, might I suggest our "economy" model...? ;)

Not diminished one bit in this family.
We will remember who let it happen and who prevented further attacks.
The dems let it happen and GWBush prevented further attacks.
