Politico ^ | 08/26/2009 | Orrin Hatch

He attended private schools and Harvard University. He was politically liberal, and liberal in his lifestyle – at least until he married Vicki Reggie, who set him straight. I grew up in a poor, working class family in Pittsburgh. Where Ted was the affable Irishman, I was the teetotaling Mormon

Neither Kennedy nor Hatch should have been allowed to remain in the US senate for decades where they formed their "close friendship" and the same goes for the other 3 term plus senators.

We do not send them to Washington to "bond" with members of the opposing party.

Ted Kennedy’s body should be cremated, the ashes placed in an empty Chivas bottle and the bottle thrown off the bridge in Chappaquidick.

Justice would then be served but never for Mary Jo.

"we must aggressively advocate for our positions but realize that in the end, we have to put aside political pandering, work together and do what is best for America.

The only problem is, that at the end of any 'deal' between Kennedy & a Republican, winds up with America being on the short end of the stick!

Hatch is a Senator; that is first, party is a distant second, or third...maybe fourth.

Hatch, of course, contradicts himself, ie lies.

They weren’t an “odd couple.” They were “two peas in a pod.”

Disagreements over policy, however, were never personal with Ted.

Tell that to the crying wives, mothers, and daughters of a good handful of judicial nominees who were personally smeared by Kennedy simply because they took the US Constitution seriously. How could Hatch serve for decades with Kennedy and not understand completely what a sick scumbag he was? ...He was, lol. Teddy Kennedy is certainly "shovel ready" now...
