A Stunning Revelation on Rather Gate

We all know what happened in Rather Gate. Dan Rather went on 60 minutes with documents that were fake. These documents were obviously not properly vetted prior to them being aired because they were fake and they wound up on the air. These documents purported to show that Bush used political influence to get into the guard to avoid serving in the Vietnam War. They also showed him to be lazy. Of course, none of it was true. Dan Rather wound up losing his job and so did Mary Mapes.

That’s nowhere near what I said. I said if you think this whole story is irrelevant that’s one thing. You seem to think that it’s relevant to talk about Obama in a story that has nothing to do with him and call that relevant. That’s just changing the subject to what you want to talk about. That’s not apologizing at all.

Basically, you want to talk about what you think is relevant no matter what the actual story you are responding to and that was the point I made. That’s not an apology.

I wrote two different posts and you put them together. Very clever., but cheap and of low character.

FIRST I wrote;

“I guess...I dunno, maybe you’re right...I thought it was relevant...sorry...”

Then, after you refused to accept that apology, I wrote;

“Where I come from, a guy apologizes like that, we usually STFU and move on.”

Obviously you don’t know when to shut up and I can tell you don’t care. That’s clear. Pimping your blog all over the place shows that you don’t care, even when you get half of the people on a thread telling you.

Don’t make the mistake of confusing the posts and trying to make it look like I said something I didn’t. Because I DO care when a smart mouth punk tries to make out like I wronged him, when in fact you aren’t man enough to own up to your own BS. Not that you care, and brother, it shows.
