It would be difficult to find anyone in media history as evil and destructive as Don Hewitt and his propaganda creation 60 Minutes.

I agree with your thinking but Norman Lear has easily been as destructive as Hewitt. "All in the Family" and "Maude" stereotyped, distorted and ridiculed conservatives and conservative ideas and even promoted abortion. His advocacy group People for the American Way is Marxist and should be re-named People for the Socialist Way. Maybe worst of all, he unleashed Rob Reiner as a media/political activist, LOL. It's hard to think of a far-Left idea Lear hasn't promoted while disguising himself as a strict Constitutionalist.

You make a good point. I’m thinking that 60minutes and others like them are marginally more dangerous because they are falsely representing commieprop as fact while Lear’s shows are straight commieprop and more recognizable as such. But then Lear’s high output of commieprop would put him on the top ten list of domestic enemies in any case.

I guess they both go to the same circle of hell.
