How is no COLA considered “slashing”?
We sort of sound like the libs when conservatives tried to cut the rate of increase...”slashing” education, “slashing” Medicare... it was no such thing.
It should have been done when we had the Congress/White House and it should be done now. We’re broke.
(BTW: It affects military pensions too... my ox is being gored, too)

How is no COLA considered slashing?...They are taking out more for Medicare out of the check. Just a bookkeeping gimmick to give them a smaller check.

How is no COLA considered slashing? It will get the attention of those affected more than using a less anflamatory style.
Sometimes, especially with ratz, you have to hit them upside the head with a 2x4 just to get their attention.
