Quick Question: Govt Has Bought Up All the H1N1 Vaccine? (None for Granny?)

I heard a talk show radio host (was it somebody who was filling in for Mark Levin?) say that the govt has bought up the whole american supply of the vaccine.

Since the elderly are not a priority, they will not be able to get the shot -- not even able to buy it on their own.

Was this conjecture, or is there a good source that can confirm this?

I mean. Obviously this would be a prime example of just what we fear about govt-run health care!

I think I *have* heard something about how seniors are less likely to *catch* this flu, BUT if they *do* catch it they are more likely to die from it.

IIRC it's because their bodies are overreacting to it, and it's that overreaction that causes some serious problems.

Too many of them think they're entitled to borrow from their kids and grandkids by force, by leaving debts as an inheritance. I know they had it done to them first, by previous generations, but that's no excuse. Jefferson had some sssscorching words for such people.

There was an article on FOX this week that said the people who got the sickest and died of H1N1 were *all* obese and had underlying health issues.

Doctors were stunned by how it only targeted the obese. (I’ll try to find more details.)

I did misremember. It wasn’t “all”, just 90% were obese. My bad.

Most were men. I am surprised that, in this paper, there was only one smoker and he was also obese and had lung disease. You’d think that smokers would be more vulnerable.

Half the patients had blood clots on their lungs which is not a normal problem with flu.

Guess it’s time to go back on a low-carb diet. ;-)

Has anyone else noticed that the ratMedia is completely ignoring the fact that the Obama administration has not stepped up concerning this lack of vaccine?

They eviscerated Bush over the lack of normal flu vaccine while he was in office, trotting out the poor inner-city citizens as examples of the "angry white men's" racism.

And they wonder why we don't want to read their newspapers or watch their nightly propaganda programs thinly disguised as news.
