Krauthammer needs to get outside the Beltway more often. But, then again, he was one of the conservatives that Obama feted early on.
Charles Krauthammer has great insight and poor application of that insight.
wait a minute, what "debate?"
Beltwayitis has consumed Krauthammer’s brain.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Krauthammer? Right now, Sarah Palin is the only man in the GOP - ok, there are one or two others - but Sarah is the one getting things done.
Maybe Krauthammer should check on how he would fare under Obamacare. Not long I’m sure...
Yep
Yes there are. Read the opinion section of the Wall Street Journal today.
A revealing commentary by a lefty who is now scared of Obama.
Chuck just doesn’t like the fact that she isn’t an eastern elite with the ârightâ educational credentials. She is also not a predictable, beltway professional politician which is to Sarah Palinâs inestimable credit:
Hey Chuck, Sarah will leave the room if you "get a grip."
Earth to Mr. Krauthammer.
The “death panels” were found in the bill. Even liberal newspapers have reported on them and said the end of life counseling provisions were “disturbing”.
We’re now seeing with the VA questionaire exactly the type of pressure that would be put on people. Questions geard toward making people think their life isn’t worth living.
The term “death panel” may have seemed over the top to some, but it cut to the heart of the matter. The governemnt was going to make life and death decisions for citizens (or as Obama put it “be partners with God in life and death.”
Oh my......we wouldn’t want to have an opinion that doesn’t come from the Elitist in D.C. now would we.
He is suffering from a catastropic illness...so maybe he is worried about his own healthcare, and is in denial.
OK, folks, we need to put this misdirection to a quick death.
The reference to DEATH PANELS
IS NOT
in reference to “end of life counseling”.
It is referring to the necessary rationing boards under the single payer system.
The reason the left is redirecting this is that they know that a rationing board is, indeed, a DEATH PANEL,
and they don’t want to fight a losing argument.
What these inside-the-Beltway jack@ssses like him really resent is that someone like Sarah Palin is a far more effective voice for rank-and-file conservative Americans than they will ever be, and they resent the hell out of it.
Palin did far more to push the Obamacare monstrosity to the brink of failure than anyone else in politics or in the "conservative" media -- and she isn't even an elected official anymore!
If too many things like this get thrown around it can backfire like McCain's 'Lipstick on a Pig' comment did.
When a panel of people makes a decision whether you get treatment or not, then it becomes a ‘death panel’.
Uh...uh...uh...do I detect a hint of jealousy among the conservative elite pundits? Poor guys...when Sarah Palin walks into the room, no one cares about anyone else sitting at the table.
That’s one point in her favor. The neocon shrink Krauthammer doesn’t like her. Now....if Billy Kristol would do the same, she have two points in her favor.
