I gotta digress from the notion of terming Sarah as a "Rock Star" ... she isn't one. She is one of US ... regular standard folk with a sense of morality and principle and duty. The term "Rock Star" is almost the antithesis of such .. a 'rock star' being an out of control narcissist who behaves as if they are above the people whom they entertain. Sarah Palin is none of that.

That Sarah went into politics with a strong sense of a 'higher calling' says more about her character as an American citizen than it does about anything to do with Rock Star'ism.

President Barry, many members of Congress, Billy and Hillary Clinton, and the Rolling Stones .. can rightfully say that they are considered "Rock Stars" ... but I don't believe that the same term applies to Sarah Palin

I don't agree with that term either (”Rock Star”)...in fact, it's insulting to think of Sarah Palin in this way!

She is the most honest and real person to come into politics in a long time!

IMHO If she craved attention for just her own satisfaction of being noticed ...then why did she not capitalize on her physical good looks by choosing a career in the field of entertainment? She could have, because -yes- she's prettier than most ladies in today's lineup of ‘Stars!’ Hey- for all I know she might even be able to sing and dance and play drums or something!:)
