GOP leadership survey (add your opinion to the mix)
Conservative Outpost ^

Posted on 08/19/2009 9:08:07 AM PDT by Drew McKissick

Things are changing.  Obama's starting to tank, and the media's not so much focued on "who" the leader of the Republican Party is, or will be.

But it's a good question.  Personally, I think the grassroots is the "leader" of the party at the moment, which is just fine.

But there are other questions.  Who would you like to see begin to take greater leadership role?  Who do you want for a nominee in 2012?  What direction should the party take?  What issues should it focus on?  How the the Republicans in Congress approach "working with" Obama?

All important questions.

We're keeping this survey open over the summer, and we'll report updated results again the first of next month.  (the most recent updated survey results are here).

So if you haven't taken the survey yet, click here and do so today.  Then pass it on to someone else.  Then speak out to your Republican elected officials and let them know how you feel.

I took it. Sarah Palin all the way. And here's my comments at the end:

The GOP is RINO city. I didn't leave the GOP, it left me. GOP elites have ruined a once proud party. They've made it Democrat lite. We want conservatives; not liberal Republicans. I'll never, ever, vote for a moderate/liberal Republican again. In 2008, the ONLY reason I voted was that Sarah Palin was on the ballot. I voted for her. Period. John McShame only tangentially benefited by that vote.

Anyone think they're listening...?

Not hardly. They hear what they want to hear. Anything else is coming from the lunatic fringe.

When you don’t know where you want to go, everyone is a leader.

As a proud member, I'm happy to have provided my worthless opinion...

Sorry, I couldn't take the survey with loaded questions.

The Republican Party used to stand for something.Personal morals mattered. Convictions, ideas and standing for those ideas meant something. Not so much anymore.
The Grand Old Party is just that, a bunch of Washington bureaucrats that care only about getting reelected than about what's right for their constituents and their COUNTRY.
As a whole, they love spending other people's money and could care less about who it might hurt. They love their trips, perks, their vacations, and the fame that goes with being in Washington.
I read in some paper that even though they might look like they put up a fight with the Democrats while on camera, at the end of the day they pat each other on the back and congratulate themselves for the fleecing they have performed.
I say we should kick them all out!
Every one of them and start over. I don't want to perpetuate the cycle of greed and indifference in a candidate that knows the ropes. I would rather have a idiot in Washington that tells the truth than educated huckster that looks you in the eyes and blatantly lies to you.
