Last month House Republicans released a report telling us something we all know, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform (ACORN) has been engaging schemes to use misuse taxpayer money to support a partisan political agenda. The executive summary of the report includes this charge.
"Both structurally and operationally, ACORN hides behind a paper wall of nonprofit corporate protections to conceal a criminal conspiracy on the part of its directors, to launder federal money in order to pursue a partisan agenda and to manipulate the American electorate,"
The report accuses ACORN of fraudulent activities, widespread corruption and calls for a criminal investigation into the advocacy group. Earlier this year, Congressman Conyers wanted to have an investigation into ACORN but was discouraged "by the higher ups"
Despite the charges, ACORN id eligible to receive up to $8 Billion dollars via the Omnibus and the Porkulus bills. And now we find out there is a provision in Obamacare that provides under a provision of the bill that provides money for groups that are members of a “national network of community based organizations” to monitor your diet and weight:

How dare the house and senate vote on bills that have money for ACORN imbedded in them..........TO THE TUNE OF EIGHT BILLION DOLLARS, COLLECTIVELY ....KNOWING that this group uses MY MONEY to WORK against MY BELIEFS!
The time has come to DEFUND ACORN and to DEFUND IT NOW because those THUGS will not work without pay...and we are PAYING them to go to the homes of people who do not agree with their policies (ie bank CEO's who did not WANT to give out unsecured loans...but were FORCED to because their very lives were at risk with ACORN thugs hovering outside! I HATE THIS....I HATE LIBERALS....I HATE THE WAY THEY PAY THE THUGS WITH OUR MONEY TO WORK AGAINST OUR BELIEFS
Surely they are LAUGHING at us and how our CONGRESSMEN have FAILED TO PROTECT OUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS.
Being gay cost more per person than being fat, a smoker or a person who eats at McDonald's every day. And yet - we hear crickets.
I presume they will start in low income housing.
And lobby the FDA to approve food stamps only for purchase of low fat food plus fruit and veggies

From the looks of those Acorn folks getting off the buses, they’ll have to get in line before me!
aint happening... gov control over our diet exercise and smoking... will “The One” give up his smokes... health care option is nothing more than total control over every aspect of our lives.... these crackpots need to be recycled out of D.C. and a whole new batch of common folk need to take it over.
ACORN will be the gate keepers for healthcare. They will hire 500,000 “healthcare” workers who will be SEIU union members s ACORN and SEIU are the same thing.
But what if you are a fat, smoking, homosexual that eats at McDonalds?
Will ACORN be able to pass the diet and health tests? Have you seen these folks? They’re like many of the SEIU folks, but in higher proportion: Fat.
