Well, I imagine Santeria is against Islam as well, so it could go either way... A good way to keep the more “one-track” religion minded folks talking and ignoring the lies in the health-care debate. I’d say it’s probably a manufactured PR move...
Of course, for the liberals creating discord amongst the religious people on the right and the more liberatarian among us is a plus for them... As witnessed on this thread.
They should be angry that Obama is denying his mother-in-law the right to practice whatever religion she wants as guaranteed by the Constitution, not whether Santeria itself is “right or wrong”... I wonder how many Christians really even know what Santeria is? I happen to know a small bit about it and wouldn’t choose to practice it as I am a Christian, but that’s her own business...
