This is the same government that wants to take over your health care. Many auto dealers are getting upset that the government is being very slow paying them back the money they laid out for the Cash for Clunkers program.

Welcome to the world of pharmacy reimbursement, hospital reimbursement and doctor reimbursement. The government NEVER PAYS ON TIME! Hello! What do you expect they can't run a post office either.

Sometimes they are EIGHT - TEN MONTHS BEHIND (you try that when paying your bills) on Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement. And there is NOTHING you can do about it. They will stall payment by making you submit MORE FORMS claiming you didn't file them properly. LIARS!

When you think of having govenment run health care just remember what it's like to deal with the IRS (x 100)!

YOU DO NOT WANT THEM RUNNING YOUR HEALTH CARE!!!

Is there any data available that would show which dealers have/haven't been getting reimbursed? Specifically, I'm curious to see the ratio of GM dealerships reimbursed to non-GM dealerships reimbursed. Government/Union-owned GM would fare much better if some of its competition was removed. If only there was a way to add to GM's market share...

Welcome to the govenment glacial speed payment system. I have put up with it for decades. Even with an electronically filed “clean claim” for Medicare, it often takes months to get paid. One of the many reasons why doctors hate Medicare (in addition to the fact that they pay about 70% what private insurance pays for the same procedure)
