Here is video of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich last night talking with Bill O'Reilly about the state of the Obama Administration right now and how the Republican Party is dealing with the current political situation.
Gingrich says he thinks the Obama Administration will probably try to "ram through" his Government Health Care Bill, unless the Democrats in Congress come back from the recess and simply tell him they cannot win.
Gingrich says the Republicans should be ready to offer a "bold alternative" to the Democrats' plan when they come back from the recess. He thinks Mike Enzi could be the person to lead in that effort.
Gingrich believes it is good for Republicans to lay low right new, but they must be bold in September.
He said he believes the Obama Administration are shocked at the level of opposition to their agenda, and they are lashing out at Fox News and others in trying to get back at those who are not falling in lock-step behind them. . . . . (Watch Video)

Gingrich is right, that’s exactly what Herr Obama is going to do.
After watching the park bench photo op with Newtie and Nutzy Pelousy where they join the gaggle to prevent gorebal warming, I don’t care what he says!
And, hopefully, the electorate will remember this next November.
Whether you like Gingrich or not, he has a lot of experience in that world and he knows what he’s talking about. Obama is going to drop all pretense in the fall and will get this bill through, no matter what. It gives him unlimited power over our lives and that’s what he craves more than anything else.
We’d be wise not to complain about the messenger but to take his warning seriously. I don’t know exactly what we can do about it, except keep up the pressure on our legislators and make our dissent and anger very visible between now and the end of recess.
Frankly I don’t want a republican alternative until we can define the actual problems and their sources.
Exactly. They believe that once this is done, the outcry will end as people will see that there is nothing they can do about it.
It will be up to the Senate to deal with something workable. This has been the plan all along.
BTW, this isn’t a healthcare bill. This is an insurance bill.
The Obamanation may have some surprises coming.
You might want to reconsider.

Truth can be found in many things, whether you like the source or do not is immaterial in most cases when viewed objectively.
This will only fire up people more. He’s a dunce.

No I don’t want to reconsider. Only an idiot fixes things without defining the problems.
I have no love for Newtie, but he is right on this one.
I meant to say Newtie is right that Obams and the Dems will Rahm something through ASAP in September. They’re already working on it and when they say the “death panels” are gone, like everything else they say, it’s a lie. However, I don’t think Republicans should be bullied into presenting “their own” health care bill—the fact is, there is very little that ought to be done at the federal level, unless it is to relieve the taxpayers of paying for federal employees’ health care.
This isnt a healthcare bill or an insurance bill, it’s a tax and control bill.
I agree....they are going to try this in spite of the massive public reaction against it. They take the path of tyrants.
We do need reform regardless. The Patients Choice Act is a good start. It is sponsored by Tom Coburn and Paul Ryan.
I’m from a very red state and I don’t think our two Senators will take this nor will the people . . . IF they ram this through, there is going to be hell to pay.
We need a national referendum on this . . . and throw in term limits just for good measure while we’re at it.
