Here is video of President Obama yesterday getting the facts of Tennis star Billie Jean King's career all wrong as he presented her the Medal of Freedom at the White House. You can see King's face as Obama cited her stats, but did so inaccurately.
“They didn’t get any of my facts right,” King lightheartedly noted afterward. “Did you see all the – how many titles I won? I was cracking up.”
“Not even in the ballpark,” she continued.
King found it amusing, and said her accomplishments on the court aren’t the most important.
“I thought it was adorable,” she said.
Asked what Obama got wrong, she said, “Well the Grand Slam’s at 39 not at 12.” . . . . . . . . (Watch Video)

I will give Obama a pass on this. He has no clue. Some intern will pay.

Again! Amateur Hour at the White House. The most inexperienced bunch of hacks in its history. From their press offices spelling and grammar errors to their research staff constantly making errors and the fluid laziness of Obama and Biden to know what the f-ck they are talking about.
They are just along for the ride...facts are for someone else to be concerned about.
As a child, I often asked my mom “who is that man in a skirt on the tennis court.” She would say “Billie Jean King, son.”

Yes, but they're highly educated morons who've been carefully taught that facts mean nothing, especially when it's so much easier to just make it up as you go along.
Somehow if President Bush made the same gaffe (which he wouldn't have), then BJ wouldn't have been so forgiving.
Why would someone get a Medal of Freedom for being a really good tennis player? These medals are totally bogus.
