Here is video of Democrat Rep. Niki Tsongas of Massachusetts being put on the hot seat yesterday at a Health Care Town Hall Meeting she held. An attendee asked her point-blank:
And here is how Tsongas responded:
"My question to you, Congresswoman Tsongas, is that if this is such a great plan, why did you opt out of it when you took the vote?"
People often say why dont the American people have what those of us in Congress have. [Audience erupts] Let me explain what I have. Let me explain what I have. What I have is a tremendous array you know, last year when I went to a discussion what I have is a tremendous array of choices. And I made a choice based on what I was willing to pay for and what made sense in terms of coverage for me and my family. [Audience shouts out: "We want choice! We want choice!] This is essentially what we are creating for the American people. We are creating greater choice.

May I assume this hypocrite is some relation to Paul Tsongas?
Her eyes are brown!
If her Wikipedia bio is to be believed, she’s his widow.
The only reason I would think of supporting reduced health care will be the reduced number of kids drugged by their suburban mommies and daddies because the kids interfere with their Oprah time.
Quite possibly, She may well be related to Horse’s ArseGas?
Regarding Tsongas’ explanation of the provision about end of life couseling that it just means that the doctor will be paid for his/her time doing this counseling ...
Why does there have to be a specific mention of reimbursing a doctor for talking to a patient about a specific issue? Why can’t he/she just be paid for the time spent with the patient no matter what they talk about?
Do they single out any other doctor/patient conversations that will be paid for? Is there a list of conversations that will be paid for and some that will not be paid for?
How will these conversations be monitored? Will the conversations have to be taped in order for the doctor to get reimbursed for their time talking to patients about end of life decisions?
If Mrs. Tsongas believes what she said, she is an idiot.
