What are the chances that during the up coming Taxpayer March on Washington that Obama's thugs will arrange for a “Reichstag Fire” incident to take place? It would fit in prefect with the playbook that Obama his thugs and the DNC are using now and the media would be quick to blame the anti-Obama 'thugs', 'mobs' and racist.

It won’t even need to be ‘arranged’. I’m sure every news camera will be looking for the one idiot in the crowd to make an example of. It is important for all attendees to act completely professionally and call out and isolate any provocateurs.

Obama wants to seem in control and wants to marginalize the right. A chaotic or violent event would hurt that image. I suspect they're more likely simply to downplay the march and lowball the estimates of those in attendance.

Or he may even say, "I'm in total agreement with those marching. We must be very careful to rein in government spending. That's why I've proposed X, Y, and Z. Now, back to the business of my ten-trillion-dollar health care package, and my clumsy bailout of union-run auto companies."

Absolutely. I noticed that in the Tea Party coverage (and in the coverage of every protest I've ever seen, frankly, right, left, center, or other). It's always the crazies who end up on camera.

The media is lazy and wants to sell papers. They don't care about publishing images that are an accurate representation of the event; they'd rather it be "interesting," or "provocative." That's what moves papers and gets eyes on TV channels. And it doesn't help that 0.1% of lunatics in the crowd seek out the camera like pigs going for truffles.

The media can twist a fool making an ass out of himself into an even of 9/11 proportions. It is easier to manipulate the story than to stage an event like you describe. It is also less chance of a staged event going haywire or a whistle blower.

I think the window of opportunity for a Reichstag fire has passed. The sugar has already flaked off the Obama turd and people are slowly beginning to smell the stench.

His mentor Adolph arranged for the Reichstag fire within the first 100 days. He also put a lot of Germans back to work within the first 100 days.

Obama has done neither, perhaps because most of his core supporters are drones and royalty who live off the sweat of taxpayers, not those who actually do the heavy lifting.

I could be wrong, but I think Obama's choices are narrowing down to one of these two:

1. Drop the facade and impose dictatorship, even at risk of civil war and revolution.
   
2. Take a hint from the Clinton playbook and slow down the stampede to socialism to improve his opinion polls.

Add to the above mix that the Goebbels media is hemorrhaging audience numbers and credibility.

Only one major difference, this isn’t the 1930’s. We have the internet, talk radio, foxnews etc. I think any conspiracy of that magnitude would quickly be revealed as a fraud. Which is why they aren’t stupid enough to try it...

i took an oath to defend the constitution (not the president or the government or congress) against all enemies foreign AND DOMESTIC and to bear true faith and allegiance to the same.
i believe the dnc and this administration are domestic enemies. now i have to reread the constitution to to see what options i have within the constitution to defend it against zero and his fellow fascists.
i think this would be a very interesting and thought provoking college assignment ASSUMING one could find a real, unbiased non leftie professor.

Reread The Declaration of Independence, the option is there. “....it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government,....” Jefferson envisioned a revolution every so often, 0bama is laying the groundwork for one even if it is not until the 2010 elections.
