Yet again, some so-called journalists have decided to make up a story. There is no truth to the recent “story” (and story is the correct term for this type of fiction) that the Palins are divorcing. The Palins remain married, committed to each other and their family, and have not purchased land in Montana (last week it was reported to be Long Island).
Less than one week ago, Governor Palin asked the media to “quit making things up.” We appreciate that the more professional journalists decided to question this story before repeating it.
Yeah, I saw it, but I’m still disturbed at reports like that, because of what it would mean to future political plans. Of course, I would want the best for their family (and that is a first priority in all cases, no matter what), I would still like to see Sarah Palin in some future Presidential run. That’s what I would like to see...

But not too insane for CNN. One of the ringleaders of this particular garbage story is Dennis Zaki, who has been used as a stringer by CNN for Palin stuff.
Good news is that Meg Stapleton of SarahPAC reacted quickly to fight this smear. Keep that lawyers number on speed dial and go for the big fish.

Yeah, I saw that. I’m hoping that it’s all a fuss about nothing. As I’ve said here before, I voted for Palin more than I vote for McCain... LOL... But this is disturbing to me, because that would be the one kind of thing that could put Palin’s future plans on hold. However, I know that “time will tell” and if there is nothing to it, then nothing will come of it...

It is amazing to see all the stories come out about Palin. You know that they are on a “hit list” for a lot of liberals, for sure. I don’t put it past a possibility that there could be marital problems, but I’m trusting that there are none. They need to keep concentrating on themselves and their own family first, and then sort things out for any future plans after that. I know that politics like this is rough on a family. Even though I would like to see Sarah Palin in a future run for President, I would much rather see them stay a happy family, if that was in jeopardy.

I see it as a "spit in your face, Palin" response from the National Enquirer because Palin challenged the press. And there are more Palin-haters in AK that will be more than happy to assist in these lies.

But, the real fact of the matter is that none of us can do anything about the happiness of their family. That’s up to them, and we’re just observers... I just hope that it’s solid enough to have Sarah Palin running for President in the future (will it be Hillary vs. Sarah? LOL...).

Because seemingly, even official spokesman replies aren't good enough, reading through posts. I use the Burnett/Enq suit as a comparison, she filed against the outlet that printed the libelous stuff, not one reporter (if I recall correctly). Sarah Palin would have to do it this way, unless someone knows how to file against bloggers posting junk, if indeed those were the *multiple sources* indicated.
Look how fast the rumormill works, how many people heard this and accepted it as true before this clarification was issued?
