Make no mistake about it, John Faulk is on a mission to boot Sheila Jackson Lee out of Congress in 2010.
John Faulk is not a career politician; he is a concerned citizen who got fed up. Faulk says, Im not looking to start a political dynasty, and he adds that he is simply looking to get representation for the people of the Texas 18th.
Faulk asserts that since 1995 (when Lee took office), the 18th Congressional District has been without representation. Faulks website states, Our representative has spent more time traveling to Louisiana, Brazil, and even Pakistan than holding office hours in Houston. It is time for change!
Faulk also says that Lee has only written and passed one piece of legislation during her entire tenure in office. That legislation was to have a statue of Abolitionist Sojourner Truth erected in the Capitol Rotunda. Faulks frustrations show in his desire to take back the 18th for the people.
The conventional wisdom of the Republican party is that Lee seems almost unbeatable as a candidate, but is not a threat as an actual representative. Republicans say, Well, we know shes (Lee) ineffective, so leave her alone, says Faulk, who adds, But thats one vote against a Republican vote. Faulk also notes that since, historically, Sheila Jackson Lee has received little to no serious competition for her seat in the district, she has used her campaign contributions to support other Democrats in other races.
Faulk, a pro-life, balanced budget, small government, candidate also characterizes Lee as the single most liberal member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Faulk says, She is absolutely the most liberal person in the House. She votes 100% of the time with the Democratic Party. She also votes 100% of the time with Planned Parenthood.

Faulk ain't got a snow ball's chance, but I wish him well.
Best wishes to him...
It’s a Justice Dept.-mandated racist district designed to protect deranged moonbats like General Jackson Lee.
Yeah, I know, that’s why Faulk has no prayer of unseating her. But, he should run. SJL has to be in the top 5 dumbest members of congress.
I forgot to notice that Faulk already ran against her in 2008. He got all of 20%. No Republican has ever won more than 24% against her (in 1994, her first race).
“The conventional wisdom of the Republican party is that Lee seems almost unbeatable as a candidate, but is not a threat as an actual representative.”
And this is what has me fed up with the Republican party leadership. Actually, with parties at all.

Colonel, USAFR
So what? He is engaging in an act of citizenship and patriotism. He needs to be congratulated heartily by all of us.
Well, I wish you luck, Mr. Faulk.
