Here is video of White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs today saying that even "DNA" evidence could not convince the "birthers" that President Obama is a citizen of the United States.

Gibbs was responding to a question asked today if there is anything that can convince the "birthers" that President Obama was really born in Hawaii and is a citizen.

Gibbs said those who question Obama's birth certificate are believing "made-up, fictional, nonsense." . . . . . (Watch Video)

Today at the White House briefing, press secretary Robert Gibbs was asked by liberal talk radio host Bill Press if there was anything he could say to make the “birthers” go away.

"No," he said. "The God’s honest truth is no."

Gibbs said he almost hesitated to even bring it up in the “august” setting of the White House press room, and then decried the "made-up fictional nonsense of whether or not the president was born in this country."

The question was poorly phrased. Why hasn't the President authorized the release of his long form birth certificate which includes the name of his hospital and attending physician? Why only the COLB?

The lawsuits the president has challenged for a year now would all disappear if the genuine Birth Certificate (long form) were introduced into court evidence.

So why the hold up? And why did John Kerry never release his military record publicly? Sharing it with a friendly Boston Glob reporter doesn't provide transparency.

The short form is just that, an abbreviated and stripped down version which is not considered proof of citizenship in many states. Won't get you a passport. That's what was posted on the various websites. I happen to have a certificate of live birth from Honolulu, Hawaii. Post WWII vintage, it's on microfiche. I ordered a copy last year the it's loaded with infomation!
