Surprisingly even handed, yet very critical look at this case. While not denying that racial profiling may have occurred (by the neighbor making the call), she pretty much calls out the race pimps for what they are...

I liked the production values of this rant as well, its got a certain style and charm. I give it two thumbs up.

First thought I had after hearing BO’s remarks was: Yep, this is a man who sat in Rev Wright’s congregation for 20 years.

The only thing I disagree with is that the neighbor profiled.

That's where I stopped watching. I'd call the police if I saw people of any color attempting to break into one of my neighbors' homes. The racist assumption that she reported the incident only because those involved were black disgusts me. Still that "fact" is quickly becoming a destructive myth about this case.

As others here have pointed out she assumes that the white neighbor racial profiled Gates. There is no evidence of that in anything I have seen. Other than that she makes some good points.

Makes alot of sense, although I would disagree that the neighbors were racially profilling. The neighbors mereing gave the best description as they could of the suspects.

The neighbors did not call the police because there were two black men loitering in the neighborhood. They called because they saw two people forcing a door in that they didn’t recognize.
