They werent alone in their search. The George Soros funded groups with ties to MoveOn.org used their networking to offer as much as $5000 for damaging employment or personal information about Mrs. Palins husband, Alaskas First Dude, Todd Palin.
I am OUTRAGED that any group would try to destroy a family like this, offering MONEY for DIRT. Liberals must be the sickest form of bacteria known to man.

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers, some of whom are currently working for Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin's bid for the White House,
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide, now working for McCain-Palin.
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
He's in charge on November 5th.'"
The Prowler added: "Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."
The Romney supporters in the McCain campaign had access to internal polling which indicated well in advance of the November 4 election that McCain had no chance to win.
So they began working to position their man Mitt for a run in 2012. Just two days after the election,The Palmetto Scoop reported:
"One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"Im told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palins people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romneys former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
These aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
Erick Erickson, who organized Operation Leper, said:
"Heres what I think: I think there are some staffers on the McCain campaign who seriously screwed up the roll out of Sarah Palin, to which Governor Palin herself objected.
These staffers are now out trying to finish her off thinking, as typical D.C. types do, that if they dont do it to her, shell do it to them. They just never understood who Palin is or what she is about."
"Likewise, I do think there are some staffers and others who expect Mitt Romney to run again in 2012,
they decided McCain could not win, and decided to undermine Sarah Palin and her chances hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."
"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign? (Mark Wallace, Romney pimp)
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the Diva leak was Nicolle Wallaces husband."
Who benefits most from Sanford meltdown? Californian (that's right) Mitt Romney

This is one of the most important blogs ever written about Sarah and her Alinsky-type treatment by the Obama war room. I know that Sarah is fully aware this is true but thanks Red Diva for bringing her supporters up to speed as well.
To you folks who support Sarah and love America this piece reflects the true and evil nature of the enemy, and why we must resolve not be CHARITABLE to Obama or the Far Left any longer. They are like vermin that must be stamped out.

Maybe cause McCain is not to be trusted? Anyone who pushed for what he did (McCain-Feingold) is no “patriot.”

We knew McCain was “off” and it seemed he was trying to throw the election.... with each passing day I feel more and more his comments in that WI townhall wasn’t a fluke, no way McCain could have really believed what he was saying... that Obama was a good man and would make a good president.

The fact that George Soros has been able to accumulate such a vast fortune, devote it to such evil causes and live to an old age to see the fruit his diabolical ambitions is proof enough for me that, as the Bible says, Satan is the Prince of this world, able to bestow all it has to offer--riches and authority, as he offered to Christ if He would renounce God--on those who make themselves useful to his destructive desires.
I hope George is enjoying his Lex Luthor moment, because payback is going to be a bitch.

wouldnt make any sense at all.""

I always wondered where McCain's money was coming from in the primaries. Romney had alot of personal money and backers and Guiliani had a big war chest as well. Huckabee ran a low budget campaign on alot of personal contributions.
But how did McCain go from being at the bottom rung of the polls to being able to run a ton of ads, hire a huge staff and pay for travel? WHich eventually brought him to win

Whatever his motives, that day McCain LEGITIMIZED Obama for many Americans who might have been on the fence towards Obama’s ability to do the job as POTUS.
AC, when you think about it if you were not a partisan or had any skin in the game or apolitical what consideration would you most take into account in determining who you would vote for assuming equality of charisma. I think the ability to the job of POTUS might rate pretty high.

That last 2 months of the campaign, I swore McCain was sabotaging his own chances. THIS explains it all. Soros money talks, and it explains how McCain rose so quickly to the top. It also explains McCain/Feingold.
Sarah, you were trashed from inside the McCain camp, NEVER trust those weaklings again! Keep an eye out for snakes inside camp!

I guess I’m too close to all of this, I never liked or trusted the man; personally I didn’t like McCain, either... our choices sucked last November, but I still held my nose and voted for the old guy.
