During the campaign last year, Obama every two weeks or so like clock work would play the race card. He does this when he feels pressure. I’ll bet he played it all his life.

Frankly I am getting sick of him blaming President Bush and crying about how he got the worst economic crisis in history BS I remember the gas lines under Jimmy Carter the double digit unemployment and interest, the Iran hostage crisis and on and on. The fact is Mr Obama is the President and he needs to stop blaming everyone else.
At my job I think my boss would fire me if I continued to blame the person who held the job before me for things that went wrong.
And as for his comment about the police department and the Harvard Teach he could have just said I am here to talk about health care he is showing his colors more and more everyday.

Sounds to me like the whole incident was CONTRIVED specifically to give Obama another opportunity to play the race card in a nationally televised news conference.

Good call in by another city cop (outside of Boston) today on the Cambridge issue. Cambridge is one of the most liberal neighborhoods outside of San Fran...so harassment of blacks, other minorities uncommon. Gates over reacted to the police. He was wrong in calling racism. He had a Harvard maintenance man work on his lock. He returns from a long flight from China. You know the rest. One was a senior officer with more stripes who let the lesser policeman take the lead.

Gates was wrong, but the cops should have walked away as well. It was believed the officer in charge was reprimanded as the cop under him. They are trained to walk away in instances like this said the officer.

Both sides shared some blame. However, Obama was quick to play the race card and sided with Gates..."progressive" racism rears it's ugly head.This could pull down his poll numbers even more.

Here is the POLICE REPORT.

It's not too long, and it's well worth the read, believe me. It left me with the impression that there is more to the story, and I think it has to do with the other guy who was with Gates. Perhaps the guy was Gate's "down low" lover or his drug dealer, or both.

In any event, the cop says he will not apologize. Good for him. He has nothing to aplogize for.
