Palin, Hunter, DeMint, or Pence? Who should be the 2012 nominee?

I have racked my brain to try to figure out who else should be included on the list of figures that conservatives should support and encourage to run for the 2012 GOP nomination.
Pawlenty? Milquetoast
Mitt? RomneyCare flipflopper
Barbour? Sabotaged eminent domain reform
Jindal? Needs to start shaving first.
Huck? playing his cards right, but can he be trusted?
Newt? Sybil
Perry? Mandatory vaccinations, anyone?
Sanford? Stepped on his John Thomas
However, if Palin, Hunter, DeMint and Pence were to be the choices, then we will have forced the GOP beyond the RINOfest that was 2008, which resulted in the predictable outcome.
Hunter gets my full support if he runs. DeMint is next, then Pence & Palin.
However, it would behoove us to discourage any attempt by the GOP moneymen to force feed us another Rudy McRomney Happy Meal for 2012.
Will talk radio get out in front this time and actively promote the conservative candidates?
I still haven't tuned back in to Hannity after his relentless efforts to convince me that black is white last go 'round.

Jindal? Needs to start shaving first.
What shallow reasoning... as if we give a hoot about that. Did Abe Lincoln or Ulysses Grant have to shave first?

I think I’d have died an gone to heaven if these are the 4 choices left standing in 2012 after what transpired in 2008

Got some great names there. My personal favorite is Hunter but I would love to see all these folks out there promoting conservative ideals without beating up on each other.

Sarah initiated a brilliant flanking manuever and counter attack against the left, the libs, the DNC, the MSM, and the RINOs that has them all in a frenzy wondering what her next move will be and how it will be perceived...and has them frothing at the mouth in their efforts to discredit her.
But, their efforts will come to naught as Sarah gets her book out, go on tour, give speeches and promote conservatie principles all over this country in the midst of the Obama administration disaster and gain great political capital in the process. Then she will support conservative candidates in 2010 and help them win, amassing much more political capital. She will then take all of that and make an awesome, stunning run for the Presidency in 2012.

They are all whacking zero. And will be till he is out of office. Which will hopefully be before the year is up, if my instincts about his birth circumstances are correct.

she will regain any lost ground with a good PR book tour......as HER book should sail to the top of the NYTimes bestseller list....along with ALL the conservative books.

A good list, but the “big money Washington crowd” won’t be behind any of them unless we drag them, kicking and screaming...

I agree, if it weren’t something you wanted to hide, why hide it.
But I haven’t seen the whacks yet. Time is ripe, batter up ...
Romnyecare fiasco takes Mitt out of the running.

Demint?
How many people in this country even know of this guy?
My own view is that its early days yet. Things tend to work themselves out as the time gets closer. We all remember the early polls from 2006 and 2007, which had Giuliani in the lead in the polls. What happened to him in the real polls? He got blown away.
My personal preference at this moment would be Gov Palin. But then no one even knows if she will run, what she's going to do in the next 3 years, or if she will still be popular in 2012, or who she is going to run against, or who will siphon votes from her, or if she can win the Republican nomination, etc etc.
Lets face it, without Romney and Huckebee taking votes away from each other, there is no way the biggest idiot ever that the Republicans have nominated to run for president, John McCain, would have won the republican nomination.
