About a month ago, in this space, I told you The New York Times had rigged a poll about Americans wanting to pay higher taxes to fund government-run health care. The Times poll said 57 percent were willing to pay more tax and 37 percent were not willing to do so. But what the Times did not tell its readers was that 48 percent of those polled voted for Barack Obama. Only 25 percent supported John McCain. Of course the poll results would skew left.
No surprises.
Yeah, they must have called during the day — When the rest of us were at work — Earning a living and paying taxes — While the ACORN supporters were at home watching orca winfre.
Maybe Newsweek will have a story next week on why Americans are falling out of love with them.
Hi Bill!
He’s such an old news guy from the 90’s.We need some new young blood constantly asking serious in your face hard core questions that make politicians want to run and hide.
I really enjoy the way he follows Glenn Beck around on stories— it’s happened several times lately. The stories Beck looks into are stories that no one else is interested in- including O’Reilly- until Glenn “connects the dots.” The ACORN story is one, there was another last week (I don’t remember what it was), but GoldmanSachs can’t be far behind. It’s especially funny because O’Reilly clearly disdanes Beck for not being a “real” journalist...
