Check out KGIL's website or google KGIL or John Ziegler. On LIVE right now, but will rebroadcast frequently.
You can listen to this show anytime after broadcast on the KGIL website. Ziegler is playing great clips of Boxer insulting and condescending to Alford, and Alford is in top form talking with Ziegler. What a GUY!!!!!
Can’t open thelink.
Thank you!
I’d like to know more about this guy Alford. He has some brass ones, and I like it.
What I know about him just from reading FR yesterday is that he — like me and Free Republic — was born and raised in California — he’s from Oxnard, a coastal farm town between Santa Barbara and LA; he’s a registered Independent; and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
See posts 4 and 5 above! :^)
He correctly asks, "What does NAACP have to do with energy?"
Well, what in the world does "Black" have to do with "Commerce?"
My thoughts exactly, and well stated.
The left is going to smear him ala Joe the Plumber, Carrie Prejan, Sarah Palin, etc.
Why didn't Boxer jump all over the guy at the hearing when he called her "Ma'am" during his response to her asinine antics? Boxer jumped all over that general when he did it. She, in her words, has earned the right to always be addressed as Senator.
Alford is 100% correct.
1. Race based or not, his organization is one that advocates on behalf of businesses that will be affected by Boxer’s legislation. Additionally, Alford and the NBCC have been studying how energy regulation effects businesses(minority ones in particular) for years. NAACP is a “civil rights” organization.
This still doesn’t address the bigger issue and that is- Boxer thinks all black people have the same beliefs as the NAACP and if they don’t, they should have the same beliefs. Even if Alford claimed to speak on behalf of black people, it is still insulting on Boxer’s part because she obviously thinks the NAACP is the only legitimate black organization.
He slapped her silly. It was a nice thing to hear.
Here’s his interview on B-cast as well, lots of good stuff in there:
And the leader of a racially-exclusive organization that promotes issues from a narrow prism of a single ethnic group (and then complains when someone views him through the same narrow prism he espouses).
Did anyone notice that before things between Alford and Boxer became feisty, he referred to her a few times as ‘ma’am’ ... without a peep out of “SENATOR Boxer.” That compares to her treatment of the General who testified before her committee a few weeks ago.
I’m going to assume the one witness’s military uniform and her dressing him down had NOTHING to do with it, compared to what she saw as a black man (before he became obviously offended with her BS). How in the hell did the US and California decline to this point ?
He mentioned in the B-cast interview that the General emailed him after all of this.
Well she did get her butt chewed last time for her remarks, my guess is she didn’t do it because he was black.
