Rasmussen: America to Congress--> NO PUBLIC HEALTH CARE OPTION
Rasmussen/ The Lid ^ | 6/17/09 | The Lid

Its time for the democrats in Congress to remember why humans have two ears, Two eyes and only one mouth, they are supposed to look and listen twice as often as they speak. While they continue to talk to each other about Obamacare and a government-run heath option, poll after poll are saying that the people of America say NO WAY.

A New Rasmussen study reports by a big margin (50%-35%) American voters disapprove of a government run health option.

Last month 41% of American adults thought setting up a government health insurance company to compete with private health insurance companies was a good idea, but the identical number (41%) disagreed.

The report shows that the main support for the public run option comes from those with a liberal slant:

The Trash in Congress do not care what the people want.

They will impose whatever they wish on us.

Welcome to the American dictatorship courtesy of the MSM and Liberals. It’s all about the Politburo’s total power over your life and deciding when to deny you medical care aka your death based on their criteria!

Don’t forget, for one second, that they’ve exempted themselves from this DeathCare at your expense.

This is what the American people wanted, and they voted for it last November.

Elections have consequences, and it’s time for the “52ers” to learn what those consequences will be. Unfortunately, the rest of us will be forced to go along for the ride.

Not too different than Americans opposed to CAP & RAPE. Who cares-—Obamadinejad and company will save the planet by killing us all off with Obamacare.

That will be the real savings under Cap & Rape. Fewer carbon spewing electricity users and there will be more power to go around for all those needing help with their mortgages.

That's because the biggest offenders have probably already been told that after the "big offensive" votes have been counted, their districts will be allocated the most "stimulus money" to insure re-election in 2010.

Who are these fools to oppose our mandates? Who are these rabble-rousers that would bring chaos to our system of governance? Who do these low-life’s think they are to challenge our superior minds? And, what makes them think they have the ability, or the know-how to do things any better?

WE DO! YOU MISERABLE BUNCH OF TREASONOUS THUGS.

We are the bosses. We hired you to do OUR bidding, not the other way ‘round. This is a representative republic, and you are not representing us. You are representing those who have lined your pockets. You are a pack of thieves and liars, deceivers and charlatans. Our advice is for you to leave on your own accord. Otherwise you will be replaced come 2010.

For a while, but the time is rapidly approaching. He will be stopped because Americans, when the cult wakes up, realize that we are under King Obama's dictator rule.

The liberals need a bogey man to sell their BS, so they use big bad insurance companies as their whipping boy. The majority of Americans realize that if you don't like insurance companies / HMOs, you will hate the government. The debate must be re-framed. Republicans must provide incentives for people to be responsible for their health and more of their healthcare expenses. It's insanity for the government and employers to occupy all the space between healthcare providers and patients—with advancement of science and technology. Move towards market discipline. It's the only way.

even without Public Option they can ratchet up regulations to put all private insurance out of business within a few years.....which is the intent, I’m sure

Well, mark. Nancy Pelosi was just on TV looking freshly Botoxed with a fixated smile on her face claiming they have the support of the Doctors, Nurses and "certainly" the American People.

She is a bold faced liar.

I’m sure my previous post, that contained the following, was running through her mind.

Who are these fools to oppose our mandates? Who are these rabble-rousers that would bring chaos to our system of governance? Who do these low-life’s think they are to challenge our superior minds? And, what makes them think they have the ability, or the know-how to do things any better?

I’m sure this is how almost all of them think. (There are still a few good ones, until proven otherwise.)

I have always supported Wal-Mart in their efforts at remaining non-union, however... In order to get into Commonist China, they agreed to allow unionization in China.

Now, to make matters worse, they have joined SEIU, one of the government employees unions in publishing a jointly signed letter endorsing ANY healthcare plan the POTUS wants!

Now, I'm hearing that Wal-Mart is establishing CLINICS in many of their stores and it appears that they will become "Preferred Providers" of government run medical care across the nation.

This probably also bought Wal-Mart exemption from the organizing activities of SEIU for a time since SEIU is a huge supporter of ACORN, or maybe the other way around!!!

This is getting hideouser and hideouser as capitalists give the commonists the rope with which they will hang the pragmatic (unprincipled) capitalists!!!

I'm thinking seriously of cancelling my Sam's Club membership like I did my Costco membership when those two leading executives for Costco contributed $100K each to the Democrat Party in 2004... Why support people who just plain dump crappola right in the middle of one's business interest???

Foothillsbilly:

The historical tactic of the elected or not elected socialists is to target the petite bourgeoisie, especially the capitalist small business entrepreneur.

The big companies are happy to be rid of the competition and the communist/fascist/democrat/socialist is happy to regulate fewer big companies.

Wal-Mart should pay more attention to what The Obammunist's comrade Hugo Chavez did with the supermarkets in Venezuela.

Long time, no see (or is that rong time, no see?). Walmart is the gateway to China. (No digging a real deep hole to get there.)

China is a blend of capitalism and communism, kinda what Obama wants to instill here, but our 'chinese' will speak a combination of Spanish and travel-trailer English.

For me, the greatest correction that needs to be made during this depression is for unions and the state in general to realize we can't haul their asses any further- we.. is.. broke.

This state's Dems have only proven they live in La La Land when they can't comprehend the scope of the economic collapse that resulted from the housing bubble (biggest bubble I've seen in my lifetime).

I don't hate public employees, but 'furloughs'? Howz-about layoffs (which is option No.1 in the private sector)? The arrogance and elitism has been taken to a new level by the public sector. They're telling us, "Yes We Can", when in reality: "No We Can't".

When sales people try to sell me sh*t I don't need, I courteously let them know- I really don't need their sh*t, and I'll be the last one to buy their sh*t. But as a taxpayer in California, I'm supposed to buy their sh*t, no questions asked. Not only that, they'll take it from me at the check-out, the State Park, the DMV, and anywhere else they can 'cause they ain't giving in.

Waste, fraud, and abuse have ALWAYS been a part of funding government. What's changed this time is we can't afford to fund the status quo. Sorry, depressions are the result of government ineptness and laxitude. Without them, and had we let the market truly determine who could 'afford' a house, we wouldn't be in this mess. My advice to them would be to stew in it. You made the mess, sleep in it.
