Can someone please explain WHY states need to pass resolutions for amendments ALREADY IN THE CONSTITUTION?

Because the Judicial process in your country has become politicized, and so laws that loudly repeat and reassert the Constitution have become vital.

I have to agree with Just Lori on this one. The resolution is entirely symbolic. If there’s anything that’s shown to violate Amendment X, there are already quite adequate safeguards in the Constitution — all any state would need to do would be sue the federal government, something that can be done with or without this resolution. Contrariwise, the resolution cannot grant the state any rights it does not already have.
