You don’t know the democrats in Illinois very well do you. Kirk, although a rino, jeapordizes their 60 seats.

No way Cap’n Traitor Kirk gets elected. Illinois doesn’t elect Republicans anymore. ACORN will gin up whatever number of “dem” votes out of thin air to keep him out. Apparently, he thought sabotaging his country for 30 pieces of silver worth of love from the envirowhackos would help clear the way for him. He thought wrong.

I’m quite sure that “election” has already been decided in the bowels of Chicago City Hall. The Outfit will accept no other result.
It was said before Burris was appointed to the senate that this seat was "a black seat".
I wish Mike Ditka had decided to run against Obama in 2004, although we may be suffering through a Hillary presidency right now.

Naturally Illinois “republicans” are proud of this RINO. It will be interesting see how much this thug receives from conservatives...you know, actual Americans.
Well, maybe. But Kirk is a despicable RINO: a gun grabber, pro-abort, one of eight Republicans that enabled cap and trade. I will not vote for him. No conservative should. The LAST thing we need in the Senate is another Susan Collins. If Jesse’s son runs on the Democratic side, I would vote for him. Think of the entertainment value! If Chris Kennedy runs against Kirk—a rumor here in Illinois—I will stay home.
I’m an Illinois Republican, and about 2/3 of IL Republicans, I know, dislike Rep. Kirk (my congressman). They think that he’s so liberal, he should be a Democrat.
My prediction? A CCMD* will be the next senator from Illinois. They put one in the White House. Getting another in the Senate is a piece of cake.

Sarah Palin MUST successfully explain about all of the problems that all RINOs create for the entire GOP, and then, she MUST also really support all true conservatives, who are running for a variety of political offices in ‘09 and beyond! If Sarah supports RINOs only because there really are no true conservatives running for certain political offices, then she could still do O.K., just as long as she’s also against all RINOs, who really do have some truly conservative political opponents also running for certain political offices. If Sarah really does end up supporting mostly RINOs, instead of fully supporting true conservatives, then she will also be killing any serious chances for a decent political future for herself. I really want her to NOT SUPPORT Senator John McCain’s re-election to his U.S. Senate seat!
Not on cap and trade he wouldn’t (and probably a whole host of other issues).
No worries there, if Kirk is elected, they still won't be.
Our biggest problem is that we let the Democrats frame every debate.
For instance, on Cap and Trade, the underlying assumption that CO2 is causing the earth to warm is accepted by virtually every politician.
