Larry Livin Says Unemployment Actually Above 15%

My family has been hit. My brother, in Boston, was laid off a few weeks ago...he held on to until the third wave of pink slips went through the office.

He has young children and he is hurting as the job market for his line of work, architecture, is always hit when the economy slumps.

We, as a family, have always watched the job losses happen to other people...now we have experienced it as a family and as neighbors to folks up and down the street.

I am wondering if other FReepers have experienced this in their families.

I am angry. Really angry. Because I do not believe it had to go this far. We have, I believe, inept IDIOTS running our nation, from the top down. How does a freak with uhbama's history BEGIN to hire qualified people? How do you hire the best when you, yourself, are inexperienced and well, full of visions that conflict with your nations foundations? Answer....you don't. You hire those you can manipulate and control. You hire the greedy and the shady. Like carol browner or eric holder. You hire the worst. Not the best.

The FairTax is not a VAT and is far superior to any and every other tax reform. Every criticism of the FairTax is bogus except for one, repeal of the 16th Amendment.

And don’t fall in with the ‘Flat Tax’, it is an income tax and the original Income tax started as a small flat tax on a very small number of Americans. The 16th Amendment allows any flat tax to grow like a cancer back to what we have today.

Here is how the FairTax is relevant to your anger of unemployment; it applies a National Retail Sales Tax (NRST) to only retail (new) goods and services INSIDE THE USA and its territories. OUTSIDE THE USA American goods and services will not be taxed and will experience an immediate 20%+ drop in cost, why?

Because all present American retail goods and services have a 20% embedded price increase due to federal goverment taxation.

So American exports will be globally competitive and American capital will rush back into the USA. The result is 10% increase in annual economic growth and that means millions of jobs.

Our present system of taxation is INSANE, there is no other word for it.

The Income tax without apportionment (the present tax code) was never in the original Constitution. It was started in 1861 as an emergency tax to help fund the war of rebellion (Civil War) and it was declared illegal many times until the 16th Amendment legalized it in 1913. It took 52 years to make the Income tax legal. It started out so small (flat 7%) that 98% of Americans never saw it. By contrast we are only into the FairTax a little over ten years and it all boils down to awareness and education.

I have spent years observing problems in our America grow and get worse. I know that a good time period of prosperity allows people to overcome many problems. In other words I believe most social problems are economic in their root. For example, abortion. I believe many women who choose abortion do so because of economics, the feeling that a husband will not provide. And abortion begets a deficit of new Americans (45 million abortions leads to 70 million missing Americans), leading to illegal immigrants to fill the vacuum, leading to insufficient tax revenues as less Americans are available to join the ranks of taxpayers.

With an aging population (larger percentage of American population joining ranks of retired) we badly needed many new Americans to help fund government, and they are not here. The missing ones and the children they would have had were aborted.

Payroll tax (social security) started out at 1% on the 1st $3000 of income. The Income tax started out at 7% on the wealthiest 2% of Americans.

On average retail prices in America are 20% higher because of federal taxation.

Read and STUDY, watch and learn. I did. I started out as a flat taxer because it sounded good, because I was not aware of the history and the way the 16th amendment acts as a business license to tax gaming lobbyists to trade in tax favors with Congress.

STUDY all the arguments against the FairTax. You will see that the arguments against it are vaccuous except repeal of the 16th. Do not form any conclusions until you have seen all sides of the arguments multiple times. You will discover as I did that the tax reform war over the FairTax boils down to a propaganda battle between 30,000 tax gaming lobbyists and the education of 144 million tax filers.

And one last thing, the tax gaming industry would love a flat tax because they will have new business to amend the new flat tax code to the insane complexity we have today. Since Ronald Reagan’s 1986 Tax reform, which made the tax code flatter and simpler, there have been more than 16000 amendments to the code. That’s all legal based on the 16th. In other words any tax reform can sound so good but the 16th will act like a metastacizing cancer on the new code. Americans have had 5 major tax reforms since 1913.

So that’s my two cents of treatment for your anger. Reform taxes in America by enacting the FairTax (HR 25) and repealing the 16th Amendment, then watch us thrive again for a lasting period.

Remember to STUDY and keep away from conclusions until you’ve seen all the arguments pro and con.

In the last two weeks I have heard on FOX (FNC) (Hannity) one liberal say that the unemployment numbers today were 9.5% which is much lower than the unemployment number during the great depression. Todays unemployment figure is based on the "U3" figure which does NOT count those who have expended their benefits and those under employed and those now working part time. The great depression number is based on the "U6" figure which counts all the above. Comparing these two numbers as the same is misleading at best and dishonest at worst.

Then I heard just last night a liberal say on O'Reallys show (sub hosted by Laura Ingram that the Obombs popularity was at 79%. Where did this liberal get that number ... there is NO WAY that FUBO's popularity number is at 79% positve unless you are getting the number from a poll taken at the DNC headquarters or the news room at ABC/NBC/CBS.

What I want to know is why these numbers are not challenged by the FNC hosts or their conservative guests. They seen just to let these lies go unchallenged which give them the appearance that they accept these figures as factual.

Hey Hannity ... hey Laura CHALLENGE these lies make the liberal that spouts them reveal the source of these figures and then challenge the source.
