A private company has set up a competing website that is much more thorough :

Recovery.org

Good site to see where the money is going.

$18 million for a website??

That’s Halliburton type contract numbers!

Was this contract put out for bid?
What a total waste of our money.

It was under a GSA contract, 2 bidders, so I hear. I’m trying to verify that. 2 out of potentially hundreds. “Alliant” is the contract vehicle I believe.

Here is what Smartronix does best:

* NetOps – Net-centric Enterprise Services to Operate, Defend, and Assure the Global Information Grid
* Cyber Security – Network Security, Information Assurance, and Operational Risk Mitigation
* Enterprise Software Solutions – Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Systems Development and Integration, Unified Communications, and Virtualization and Geospatial Technologies
* Defense and Commercial Products – Systems Engineering and Integration, Rapid Prototyping, and Mission-Focused Solutions through Creative Design and Development of Quality Products
* Health IT – Smart Health IT Solutions, Enterprise Software Development, and Health Data Analysis and Support

Smartronix is the company awarded the contract. Mgmt has contributed only to Steny Hoyer $19,000 since 1999 (making Hoyer buyable and CHEAP!)
